Side Effects for Invanz (ertapenem sodium)

I'm no longer taking this medication. Update: never had any side effects

Update: never had any side effects

minor thrush but could be from the Augmentin the idiot in the ER started me on.

First diver flare was one year ago, put on cipro/flagyl, almost killed me, developed lactose intolerance immediately, lost 8 pounds in one week, had to stop meds after 3 days, horrible thrush took two weeks to cure. This is NOTHING like those drugs. NO side effects, stool is loose but could be post diver flare, have not lost weight. If you have diverticulitis, REFUSE cipro/flagyl and ask for this drug IV every day (a bit of an inconvenience) but far superior.

loose stools, face flushing, acne

It helped with my allergies such as the drainage, the runny nose, the itchy eyes, but it made me extremely drowsy. So much so it worried my coworkers that something was wrong with me when I passed out in front of my computer. I even dozed off while standing. That amount of drowsiness can be dangerous and it didn't even show up until about a week after taking the Zyrtec. The day I stopped taking it, there was an immediate difference in how drowsy I felt. I even switched between taking it in the morning to taking it at night with no difference except that taking it at night made it really difficult for me to wake up in the morning.

My client experienced back pain legs were so weak couldn't walk and very very fatigue all he did was fall asleep, did not find namenda helpful at all ,only made things worse.

it's been almost two weeks since my last spray of nasonex, and i'm still dealing with the jaw/ear discomfort. has anyone else experienced this that can tell me how long it took for this to subside? it's almost as if the muscles around my jaw area have just forgotten how to relax, making them sore. i tend to doubt nasonex gave me TMJ or something. only reason i give it a 2 is because it cleared up my ETD.

may have caused sleepwalking--I have had episodes since taking

dizziness, extremely tired, nauseous, yucky gas.

before i discovered Imitrex the symtoms of my migranes were sensitivity to light, mental confusion and tired aching body and of course the 2 days headache that made me incapable of working. Imitrex takes the headache away but does not take away the light sensitivity or the tiredness. that I can handle. it is wonderful and I am so grateful there is something that relieves it. ..... oh yeah.. the 1st time I took a 100 mg pill and it caused me to have the euphoric feeling that was not in a good way. taking it to 50 worked perfectly.

I'm testing this stuff out for what I feel is inattentive add. The second day I'm on it today, I really didnt notice any of the positive side-effects from the day before, but I still got the chest breathing thing and the insomnia. If I don't sleep tonight that will be 3 nights without proper sleep and I think I need to get off of it. Its too bad, because I feel like it is helping me concentrate at work and talk with people better.
