Full dose of 20mg is way too strong for me, could not function and way too sleepy. Short term memory loss too. But with dose cut to 12mg it's perfectly fine.
THIS DRUG GAVE ME MY LIFE BACK. I am now able to sleep 8 hours a night and function normally during the day!
HETLIOZ (TASIMELTEON): Tasimelteon is used to treat a certain sleep disorder (non-24-hour sleep-wake disorder). It works like a natural substance called melatonin that your body produces. It helps to control your sleep-wake cycle (circadian rhythm). Tasimelteon may improve your ability to sleep at night and to be more active during the day. This is the second time that I have taken Zyban. It works great for quitting smoking. The first time I had "electric jolts", insomnia and I felt dopped up but I knew the side effects and thought that it was worth it this time. Side effects are not as bad.
I feel like I can't function, and the side effects are severe enough that I feel like I can't work. I will never take this again.. oh, and I still have a sinus headache.
I loved celexa. I was on it for a year before it stopped working which SUCKS! It helped me maintain a healthy weight in that I was un-depressed enough not to eat all the time. Since the celexa stopped working (began having panic attacks and migraines) I was put on Cymbalta and gained nearly 30 pounds in seven months. Now I'm trying Paxil but don't have much hope it'll work either.
This medication should be pulled off the market. The dizziness was sooo bad, my mood changed, was drowsy during the day, and above mentioned. I had circulation problems. This was the second time I took the medication, the other time was for a month. It was two weeks this time and a NIGHTMARE! Shame on California Kaiser Permante Doctorsfor presciring this so liberally and not following up! This stuff is like posion. Think again before taking or going to a Kaiser facitity!
