Side Effects for Gentamicin sulfate in sodium chloride 0.9% in plastic container (gentamicin sulfate)

this was for prophylactic prevention of UTIs for my daughter with a surgically enlarged bladder. administered 10cc - 20cc via ostomy into bladder nightly...not oral or intraveinus. my daughter took this med for 2 years. no side effects, and even though it's not effective against some bacterial infections and she did get some infections, she did not get bad ones. i would recommend this.

GENTAMICIN SULFATE IN SODIUM CHLORIDE 0.9% IN PLASTIC CONTAINER (GENTAMICIN SULFATE): This medication is used to treat minor skin infections (such as impetigo, folliculitis) or minor infections related to some skin conditions (such as eczema, psoriasis, minor burns/cuts/wounds). Gentamicin works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria. It belongs to a class of drugs known as aminoglycoside antibiotics. This antibiotic only treats bacterial infections. It will not work for virus or fungus infections. Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

I long for the good old days when the anxiety was hardly there and the depression wasn't anywhere near this bad. I'm in the process of tapering off. Quitting might be a bad experience, but it can't be as bad as it was while I was on the meds. (can it?) Ugh. I never would've started. The little bit of help I got in the beginning isn't worth what I'm going through now. Hands down this is the worst drug I've ever taken.

This drug caused Cervical Dystonia (a neurological condition of the neck) as well as drowsiness, so I stopped taking it.

I had been diagnosed with bipolar at the age of 14 after having episodes of mania in which I was delirious, in a state of delusional thinking with a dramatic depression relapse lasting 2 weeks after. Part of the reason I started taking this drug after the pyschiatrist telling me to was I had been doing strange unusually risky behaviours withou conscious awareness such as sending weird letters to boys and wearing weird clothes to school and breaking rules. Started on 50mg went up to 100mg and was drowsy for weeks after causing me health problems with my energy levels. When anything stressful came into play I would still lose control of my emotions and had to go see the psyhcitrist again to have another "up the dose" session. Before I knew it I was on 500mg such a strong dose, only benefit was I didn't go into paranoia and psychosis but still had high moods and low mood swings. This drug will affects your brain! I had noticed feeling of lethargy, emptiness in my thinking, eye strain, confusion and headaches when trying to retain information. I felt like it had made me dumb! I felt like I was floating though life as a weight gained tired and lifeless ghost not realising what was going on living for the moment but only because I could remember hardly anything! Apart from this awful feeling as though I was masking out on other young people's non drug experience like they were feeling better than me (and I know I'm not the only one). Being a very creative person I felt my

flaky skin at application sites.

I will never take another dose of this medicine again boniva is not for me. I also took fosamax and it made me faint within 5 minutes after taking it, I was on forteo for 2 years and I hope to go back on it again

She started having wild behaviors and attacking to me which she hasn't done ever even if she was very mad, feels hot when I take her temprature is 100 and right after that she said she feels she is not hearing anything then a loud noise and feeling dizzy.

Weight gain. (only a few pounds) Cleared up my acne. (it did that in maybe a week or two after starting the pill) Breast tenderness (only the week before my menstration) Increase in the size of my breast. (i like this side effect =) a few minor headaches in the begining. All in all nothing really that severe. I lost the weight in a couple of weeks.

DEPRESSION, ANXiETY, NOT MYSELF AT ALL - Actually thought something was wrong with me....then I stopped taking it - and now I am back to my happy self! Missed Peirods too...pregnancy worries

Night terrors, weight loss, and less anxiety. I have tourettes and i've noticed that when i started taking strattera, they have stopped. The only time they come out is at night, when i am tired. Im more calmer than normal

Long-term severe discontinuation syndrome: internal shaking, muscle spasms, vision problems, throat problems, breathing problems, electrical brain zaps, mental fog, too many others to name.
