i am not sure what its doing, it seems to be bringing everything and I mean everything to the skin surface so I am not sure i like it or not! I will give it 12 weeks and let you all know my results.
Have to use very little, and it took skin 2 weeks to adjust. Very itchy and red and inflamed. Redness still present and smAll acne bumps still exist, although I've been using it faithfully. Must go with generic, as brand name is ridiculously priced, even with insurance. Will probably ask seen for something else once tube is finished.
Had a bad flareup after applying this to my nose. Since it comes and goes w/o rhyme or reason, im not sure if Finacea cause it or not, but im afraid to use it again.
Absolutely no redness. Peeling just at middle of nostrils and bottom sides of nose. Not sure Finacea is doing anything. Using a combo of Panoxyl, Differin, and the Finacea. Face became even more oily. The Finacea/Differin use seems to be healing new pimples quickly.
Don't see dermatoligist for another three weeks so let's see how my skin is doing by then.
Has made the redness on my face worse. Made my skin dry. Itching right after application is intense-pt info that came with it said this side effect would go away but it has never subsided completely.
It seems to reduce the redness slightly in the affected area. I don't like the fact that the burning makes it so difficult to apply powder to my cheeks that I need to conceal the redness. This medicine is really a catch 22. I need it to make the skin look better long term, but using it makes it so that I can't conceal the skin effectively in the interim. I don't think I will continue using it.

Slight burning sensation, great deal of itchying and irritation

Don't take it, and read about anything before taking it.....if anything odd starts to happen, stop any drug and call the doc.
I was hospitalized for what was thought to be a TIA (mini stroke)-symptoms numbness running down right arm and swelling in right leg, nausea. Now I wonder if it was from this medication. Doctor thought it might also be gallbladder. It is difficult determining cause.I really don't think I had mini stroke as I am good weight for my age/height, walk 1-2 miles daily; aquajog on weekends. Cholesterol is borderline; blood pressure low-medium. I'm a non-smoker, very light drinker and watch my diet. Of course you never know.Prescription Prilosec taken twice daily does alleviate most of my symptoms.
I felt relief at first then I felt a burning sensation. It got better as time went on.

Severe nausea and Severe muscle pain over entire body. Unable to walk or eat. Only with help was I able to use a porta potty. I became hot then cold, then hot again. Room was spinning and could not even get out of bed. Doctor wanted me to continue. I could not.
Side effects continue 1 month after treatment was stopped, I've seen a cardiologist, 1 urgent care visit, I primary care visit, 2 ER visits. No one has helped! If you've experienced this, how long has it taken for you to recover? What has helped?
Tried to up dosage but 10mg was to much.
My daughter's migraine became worse on this medicine by day 3. I would now hesitate to put a child on such a powerful drug unless other drugs have been tried first.
