I was experiencing burning sensation on my chest, when I went to see the doctor he prescribed exforge with concor 5mg it’s almost three weeks now and my ankles and my eyes are swelling am going to tell him to change it for me though it helped my pressure to go down
The side effects are too much, my legs are too heavy, I cannot walk, am getting too tired
took another medicine for years,
Increasing ankle and feet swelling, cough, stopped up ears, stuffy runny nose, gained 12 lbs, tired, blurred vision, low stomach pain, swelling in stomach
Lowers blood pressure but several side effects,
When I started it worked just fine then it stopped lowering my pressure. I had Bad leg cramps ache all the time dry mouth. And the Dr put me on both Diovan and Exforge. Will change this week

After a heart attack in 2010 CCB was replaced with a BB which made angina worse. Exforge HCT has restored angina control and actually improved BP
EXFORGE HCT (AMLODIPINE; HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE; VALSARTAN): This product is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This product contains 3 medications: amlodipine, valsartan, and hydrochlorothiazide. Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker, and valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB). They both work by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. I was given Aciphex along with two antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori. It helped to heal my ulcer, but eventually it wasn't as effective in combating my acid reflux and I had to switch to Nexium, which worked good and was cheaper.
Let me say that overall I am very please with this drug. it brought blood sugar levels down for my doctor to be happy. MAKE SURE you buy some Febreeze,GLADE, or AirWick Deodorizer though. I FART like crazy and it stinks BAD!!! It's embarrassing at times, because I think of myself as a proper lady, but the med has been worth it for my diabetes
Mood wise- I could feel a difference. I was very Calm. However the nausea and headache were enough to not ever take this again.

I had to stop taking Topamax after about 3 months. I know I was only on a relatively low dose (50mg), but reading the other comments about the side effects that I should expect in the future, and the fact that the drug was having no effect on my headache, I felt it just wasn't worth it.
Taking this birth control was one of the worst mistakes I've ever done. I would never recommend this. Ever.
Lack of sex drive and weight gain
Not sure that I, or my family, can put up with these side-effects long term. Might extend my likelihood of for cancer not coming back, but at what personal price?
Burning and stabbing traveling stomach pains, light-headed feeling, tingling in left leg and foot, headaches, shoulder/trapezius pain, feeling odd, feeling like I had some kind of horrible disease, gas, bloating, lack of energy, gained 5 pounds
I have mild cramps as if I'm on my period. Very fatigue and sometimes I get light headed.
