after first dose, chronic diarhea and then really severe heartburn and pain in stomache.

I cannot take penicillin as I am allergic to it. Was not told about the side effects of this tablet. Wish I could take something else

ERYTHROMYCIN STEARATE (ERYTHROMYCIN STEARATE): Erythromycin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It may also be used to prevent certain bacterial infections. Erythromycin is known as a macrolide antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats or prevents only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. If you take it with metamucil it traps the excess fat and you get almost no side effects.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=pubmed&dopt=Abstract&list_uids=11443512&itool=iconabstrI am also only using 60mg/day, but I weigh alot, eat much of my calories at the end of the day and have a fast metabolism. I calculate that I block about 150-200 calories with that one capsule.

This med is now considered by migraine specialists to be archaic in the prophylaxis of the disease. It's relatively safe and it's cheap, which I imagine is why it still gets prescribed. I feel that I may have slept a little better on this med. But, to be honest, the very best cure for my migraines is total avoidance of any triggers. Given that my triggers include virtually all external stimuli (from sound and light to noise and the ordinary business of life), it seems that I am, in our culture, very disabled. I'm trying to make the point that maybe we get migraines because we are not physiologically designed for, nor have we adapted, to the crazy demands of 21stC life.

Started on Junel as substitution for Gildess and it was okay until I started bleeding again. The medication no longer has any effect on me. I currently have a heavy flow that has lasted for the past week and a half, and moderate cramping. Hoping to return to Gildess or Microgestin Fe very soon--at least they have worked consistently in the past.

Hope it did what it was supposed to do (get rid of bacteria in abscess). Relative to that goal, side effects were certainly tolerable and not a really big deal (I've certainly been carrying on my normal work and life schedule) - but definitely more noticeable side effects than with some other antibiotics.

First dose. Chills, fever and flu-like symptoms on day oone. By day seven, rashes and skin eruptions like shingles or chickenpox on legs and arms,

I have always had the cough, at night and when stressful or busy situations occur it is worse. Now I am unable to ride my motorcycle and having trouble driving in the car on the highway due to a lightheadedness, vertigo. Get hot and nauseated with anxiety when driving over 30 or 40 mph at times. I have knee and hip pain. Also have had a pain just under my right ribcage for several years.Complained to Doctor for several years, have run tests and can't figure any of it out.

My first symptoms were tightness and pain behind my knees. I did not read the drug side effect insert (how many of us do that?) until I had taken Levaquin for 7 days. I have been off the drug for 3 weeks and the symptoms have worsened. I now have pain and swelling in my left calf. What should I do? I am terrified after reading all of the comments.

Did not really have much effect on me. After starting 10 mg dose 2 days in I would have a somewhat persistent diarrhea in the morning. Same applied with increase to 20 mg. Did not have this issue on 40 mg increase, guess my body was used to it by then. Diarrhea was not terrible, expecting to improve in mood helps to bear through it, but I did not feel much change on this medicine. I had less negative thoughts of my past, and that was about it. Still down, not motivated, disinterested in everything, and barely leaving my house.

Maxair realy helped me through my last few years in the Marine Corps, and is a great help to me now as a Sheriff Dept Rescue Diver before I go in the water. I have been using Cingulair, & Advair for 9 months now, but I'm glad I still have a couple of Maxairs for scuba diving.

I experienced swelling, bloating, sinus infection, tinitus, sleeplessness, headaches, dry mouth, dizzy spells, and leg cramps. I became extremely over emotional. I had never taken an anti-depressant before. This was a horrible experience. I quit the Wellbutrin after 2 1/2 months and I feel great.
