Started with painful stomach cramps the first day. The second day, the cramps continued and turned into a severe burning sensation in my stomach. Vomited lots of bile, and very nauseous in between. Could not get comfortable no matter how I layed down. Severe burning sensation lasted 12 hours and made sleeping almost impossible! (And I've slept through labor contractions!) Worst meds ever!

At first, the pills just gave me a terrible stomach ache, which turned slowly into a full-blown ulcer and diverticulitis. Then, when given it again, it nearly killed me. I vomited up bile, my joints swelled up: my ankles and knees were the same size.
I have abdominal cramping. Lots of air in my stomach making it hurt. It only stops when I eat. Very sharp and sever pain, although it is helping the infection...
I think that if you have an alternative medicine method you should take it. I have to take two of these pills twice a day, and I hate it..
ERY-TAB (ERYTHROMYCIN): Erythromycin is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It may also be used to prevent certain bacterial infections. Erythromycin is known as a macrolide antibiotic. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats or prevents only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. Severe pain and discomfort in my lower thighs and especially my knees. Knees "pop" when I attempt to walk, which I assume is caused by tendon problems. I can hardly stand up without assistance. I look like an OLD woman -- okay 55 is not young, but it's not that old! I also have pain in my finger joints and one wrist is affected. I'm very concerned.
Feel tired but not what I'd call drowsy.
I took 750 mg for 10 days and then felt ill so I requested another 10 day dose and was given it. I didn't know that the drug was the reason for my flu like symptoms. I was not given any warning about the side effects. I am worried about not getting my joints back to normal.
This seemed to work wonders. I had an infection around my wisdom tooth and could hardly open my mouth to fit a spoon between my teeth to eat cereal. My face was swollen and I couldn't talk properly. After a few days it got better and by the end of the course I was back to normal. Then the tooth was extracted. It seemed to work for me and others I know that have been on it.

I started on birth control when I was 16. I'm now 36. I started on Demulen 1/50, 50 mcg of estrogen. Talk about harsh on a 16 year old. I've been on Ortho cept and Ortho Cyclen since then, never being really satisfied with any of them. I started OTC after reading some decent things about it online.First off, I gained 10 pounds in the first month of taking it, mostly in the boobs it seemed. I went up almost a full cup size. My husband was pleased with this. Me, not soo much. Secondly, it did reduce the flow amount and length greatly. 3 day periods, and I basically only use Lite tampons. That's the best benefit this pill had. Thirdly, it caused pretty extreme clotting in my flow, which makes the cramping worse. Lastly, I have experienced increasing anxiety, depression, and mood swings with it, unlike anything I experienced with the other pills I've been on.Bottom line, you will most likely gain weight on this pill and experience some negative mood altering effect
