ENULOSE (LACTULOSE): This drug is used by mouth or rectally to treat or prevent complications of liver disease (hepatic encephalopathy). It does not cure the problem, but may help to improve mental status. Lactulose is a colonic acidifier that works by decreasing the amount of ammonia in the blood. It is a man-made sugar solution. Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks
The aftertaste last a long time, but not terrible. You have a feeling of a slightly foamy mouth for hours. I assume that is it still working.

I am a healthy adult. Work out 4-5 days a week, and this stuff makes me feel fatigued, muscle weakness, can hardly walk, and my heart is pounding. If tomorrow continues, I will go to Urgent Care. This stuff is so dangerous please stay away from it!!!!!
Great augment with an ssri. Works best as an augment. Good med.
Terrible medication,side effects are just too bad,would not recommend it to anyone.
I used this birth control because my doctor recommended it to me over all other types of birth control. I have now been off of Depo for 8 months and I'm still suffering the side effects of weight gain. I know many will say a medication can't be blamed for excessive weight gain, but Depo is truly an exception. I had never ever experienced any weight issues before Depo and then over a span of nine months I went from 125 lbs to 170 lbs in size perspective 5 to an 11. I do not have a sedentary lifestyle and I have been fighting a long hard battle to try to lose this weight and it's been a challenge (I've only been able so far to lose 10 pounds) I recommend this drug to no one and I hope for those who are already taking this drug to please get off of it, there are other options. I made the switch to Mirena and have been much happier weight is still an issue for me but I no longer have experienced depression or anxiety issues.
