ENDOMETRIN (PROGESTERONE): This medication contains a female hormone called progesterone. Progesterone is needed to prepare the lining of the uterus so it can receive a fertilized egg. Progesterone and other hormones help you become and stay pregnant. This medication is used to increase the level of progesterone in women taking fertility treatments because these treatments tend to decrease progesterone levels. This was a miracle drug. My akathesia was so intense but it just melted away 100 percent when I took this drug. I only quit it when I quit the antipsychotics. I would sometimes get dry eyes or itchy skin from it but that's about it...I didn't notice the constipation like others are saying.

I also have depression, 3 wks after Psych upped my Lexapro, I became really sleepy, went for another sleep test with MLST, CPAP working fine but had a lot of limb movement, ruled out RLS but no mention of PLMD (Periodic Limb Movement Disorder) which I later found was linked to depression and taking SSRIs, as someone said some times docs just treat symptoms, I didn't need to "stay awake", I needed a good nights sleep! Lowered the lexapro (might stop it) and feel much better
