Emend was great I had no nausea after surgery.
It's ridiculously expensive and not covered by insurance. 100.00 for ONE pill!!
IV dose of Emend after several minutes produced severe allergic reaction. Felt like insides were swelling then had sensation of falling into a cave. Could see and hear nurses but couldn't respond. Had flushed face, blood pressure went up and oxygen level down. Lasted for a short time after IV turned off. It's on my list of meds I'm allergic to. Was told it's the first time they ever saw that reaction.
EMEND (APREPITANT): Fosaprepitant is used with other medications to help prevent nausea and vomiting caused by cancer drug treatment (chemotherapy). Fosaprepitant works by blocking one of the body's natural substances (substance P/neurokinin 1) that causes vomiting. This medication will not treat nausea or vomiting that has already started. Is a good medicine to take hope I feel better with it soon
I am actually taking Loestrin 24 fe. However, it seems like the same thing based on everyone's reaction. I FREAKED WHEN I DIDN'T MISS A PILL AND I HAD NO PERIOD. All the negative pregnanacy tests were confusing--adding to the stress of not knowing. This is, without a doubt, the most frightening thing. I really wish my doctor would have warned me about this. I read the label and called a pharmacist and neither of them knew this sort of thing was common. I KNOW am going to call him and complain. I don't have the mood swings, but I have felt anxiety. I guess I just thought it was "me" and didn't associate it with the pills. Having a harder time losing weight, but didn't gain more than 5.
Hair loss, mood swings, depression, NO sex drive at all, fatigue, constipation, weight gain, acne, headaches, backaches, lack of concentration, memory loss and no period.

Among all the reviews I've read about this drug, people either love it and have absolutely zero problems, or they experience the worst possible problems. Please don't risk it. There are other medications that you can take. Reglan is NOT worth the gamble.
panic attacks-peace of mind....
dizziness, headache - brain fog, lethargy. Weight gain due to lack of energy. I'm not sure if any other females have expereiced this but I am having very painful recurring yeast infections.
Transderm did work for me but had too many side effects. I had extreme redness in my eyes and deep black circles around my eyes. I have been home four days and still have blurriness. I sleep for two days in I came home from my cruise. My mouth was very dry and I had a day taste in my mouth.
Burning inner pain, very high core body temperature.
