First week: Extreme akathesia, inner restlessness, rapid speech, racing thoughts. All of these side effects dissipated after two weeks of taking the medication (I started out at 20mg and then moved to 40mg after 2 weeks).At first, Latuda seemed to pull me out of a depressive episode. It gave me the energy to get off of my couch and live my life. A few months later, suicidal thoughts began. They increased in severity so much that I attempted suicide three times during the time I spent on Latuda. Latuda made me feel panicky like I had never felt before. I was so panicked at night that I would hide under my covers and shut my eyes. I couldn't handle stimuli when I felt like that (which, when I went up to 80 mg, was every night).That being said, I had no weight gain with this drug.
Dry eyes, dry skin, dry mouth, dry lips
Prednisone can cause serious mental illness. I had no idea a drug for a physiological health problem could do this. Doctors really have an obligation to tell patients these things. Unfortunately, for my doctors, I had scum.
Dry mouth, Grinding teeth, excessive peeing, hesitant and shaky speech (stumbling over words too,) fast heart beat, loss of appetite, trouble sleeping, disinterest.
Weight gain; inability to urinate; constipation; loss of libido
Terrible side effects for me. Wish the doctor had warned me!!!
Memory loss if tried to stay awake after taking it. Some drowsiness the following morning, but minimal.
Wasn't sure what to expect and was getting nervous thinking that maybe I was starting to have bad side effects. Luckily I found this site and realized that it was normal. The taste is bad but I've tasted worse liquids. More than half way done with no flavorings and indifferent to it now. Just tastes like a thick, cold glass of salt water. Took two hours for this to start working for me though. It is working but not like the nurses warned me. Then again, I've had bad diarrhea for a month now, so I am probably already used to the feeling. Been using the toilet every 30-40mins. Seems to do a good job. Will be very happy to not having to do this again. Wouldn't recommend it as a sports drink. To the air force guy that shotgunned this...WOW.
