Desloratadine (desloratadine) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Desloratadine (desloratadine)

extreme fatigue, bronchial pain, aches

This is Clarinex. When it first came out, it was a good allergy drug for me. But trying it recently the side effects are not worth it, almost as bad as Zyrtec for achiness and zombie-like brain fog. Must be a manufacturing and/or formula change, can't recommend it.

Took it because swelling and itch had not gone down 4 days after sting. Took it at 8pm...by 9pm I had crazy headache and mildly shallow breathing. Was sitting at the table but had to put my head down as I started to feel drowsy and I knocked out for 9 hours.Plus it did nothing for the swelling and itchy bite.

DESLORATADINE (DESLORATADINE): Desloratadine is an antihistamine used to relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes/nose, sneezing, hives, and itching. It works by blocking a certain natural substance (histamine) that your body makes during an allergic reaction. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

I wish I did not get it in the first place because I am struggling to have children now that I want them. But I plan on looking for help as soon a possible.

When I started taking Zoloft it made my panic attacks stop. I take 50mg before bed and I sometimes feel weird in the morning.

The worst experience I have ever had with any drug ever. Thought I was losing my mind.

weightloss due to lypodystrophy

first week taking 1000mg with naproxen before sleep, I woke up thinking the house was on fire, looked in the mirror, and looked like someone torched me.had severe itching, especially between my thighs, hives, small blisters, needed to go to doctor and started on prednisone, for a week with relief.Still occasional flushing in face.also during those episodes my heart was beating out of my chest! Nasty drug, never had labs drawn to find out if helped, wasn't on it long enough, but it is certainly not worth feeling like that!!!!

Have never been on any long-term prescription in my entire life so was unhappy to have the experience of an initial short bout of dizziness after two weeks of use but then severe dizziness, including Vertigo, after 30 days of use and to the point of nauseousness and vomiting. The total time of being incapacitated was 4-5 days. Went off the medication 3 weeks ago and this week I am still experiencing the side effects of dizziness, going on for 3 days now..

I started using the patch 8 months ago as my first birth control method. I loved it because I didn't have to remember to take a pill everyday and I was afraid of getting a depo shot because you lose your period completely. The first week was great, I felt a little sick the day after I put the patch on when I woke up but got over it soon enough, and my breasts got probably twice their size very quickly. After the second month the sick feeling went away, but for the past 3 months it has come back as a huge problem. The morning after I put my patch on (doesn't matter what time of day, I always wake up sick) I am truly sick and vomiting for hours. Last month was so bad, I couldn't keep anything down (not even water) for nearly 6 hours and my stomach felt queasy into the next day. I told my doctor at PP about the symptoms and she said it's probably a normal bodily reaction to the drug, but honestly I don't think this is normal and this will probably be my last month taking it.

after about 3 years it only worked for 4 hours and I wake suddenly. I tried the sustained release but I still slept a little over 4 hours. I tried taking half and then the other half when I woke which worked another 6 months or so. Now I take it in conjunction with other meds that cause drowsiness and only to fall asleep if the others don't work.

Did not upset my stomach or disorient me like other pain medicines
