Seem to help with the depression, also had more energy, notice that I wasn't craving sugary foods as I normally do, but after taking it for 3 weeks broke out in terrible hives all over my body hurting most on my arms, hands, head and neck, also have swollen glands, went to the doctors today after 3 days of the hives, she put me on a steroids, Methylprednlsolone, hopefully it will work soon, also taking benadryl to help the itching. During the first week I had insomnia, but went away after 1 week. Felt good in the morning was able to wake up right away instead of hitting the alarm for 30 mins. as I normally did.

A bit of cramping the first 5 days that I started the pills, breasts were incredibly sore for about the first three weeks, but I grew a whole cup size! I'm small so this was great for me! Has helped me to put on weight which is good for me since I have a high metabolism, but maybe not great for everyone.

I usually tend to experience the side effects from about 2-4 weeks after starting a new pill but am so far 3 months in and am extremely happy with the change.

I leave the car running, I drive past my freeway exit, I forget my sister's kids names, I sometimes feel high on it, I have very little emotion about anything although I do take prosac as well. I take 2400 mg throughout the day (800 mg 3 times a day). It has helped my craving for drugs in an incredible way and have been sober a year now. BUT, I just tatood my father's name on my back and spelled it wrong. I am not that stupid. Is it the neurontin?

Headache, nausea, dizziness, looser stools. I took 500 mg twice a day. My doctor recommended with lunch and then with a snack before bed, so I at least felt more or less ok in the morning. Necessary because I work. Got my period and it seems heavier than normal but maybe because I have to use pads (no tampons with vaginosis)

No side effects really, just some worry i get hooked on it

I don't recommend it. If you don't enjoy sex, go for it.. I got a new girlfriend at 23 and she was asking if she was attractive because I have difficulty having sex with her. After 2 moths of stopping the medication I was back to almost normal and she was not believing it... that's a good resumé I think..

This is only my second patch to wear and I am already experiencing side effects. I feel extremely nauseas, diarrhea, extremely tired, aggravated, random crying, body aches, and loss of appetite. Of course none of these help the fact that I have a sinus and throat infection, and I am already diagnosed bipolar. Even with my medication, I'm still in a very low depression, only after 6 days. I now understand why my Dr. asked me to consider the NuvaRing if I didn't like the patch. I will definitely be calling to get a prescription for that instead, with high hopes that it may help.

I received the 1st dose at my doctors office. I've heard here that it is supposed to be given IM. But the nurse assistant squeezed my arm together like you would for a SQ shot rather than IM. It definitely felt like it didn't get into the muscle

i took topamax in the past at a (much) higher dose for bipolar with the same side effects. when taken with other prescription meds it can have an extremly sedative effect (hence the nickname "dopamax". I learned this the hard way after being prescribed topamax and abilify at the same time. it does wonders for my migraines though. you get used to the tingling of the feet. i've found that applying strong pressure on the painful site can help. Weight loss of about 7 lbs. Makes my ambien kick in within a matter of minutes...when i took the ambien alone it would take 40 mins - 1 hr before i could fall asleep. All and all topamax has been helpful
