Side Effects for Clobetasol propionate (emollient) (clobetasol propionate)

no bad side effects from this medication yet. havent really been able to tell if it is "curing" my condition, although i dont think there is actually a cure, but i sure do notice the pain is relieved for 3 to 4 hours after applied.

this is the first treatment i have tried for this condition, aside from oral tetracyclins (which made me vomit) and so far is is controlling my symptoms very effectively

SEVERE itching of the hands and feet. No rash, but the itching drives me absolutely crazy. I've tried several OTC anti-itch/steroid creams with no relief at all!

My mother takes it for depression and it works for her.

So far, this medication has helped my daughter with her asthma. Not one puff on an inhaler since she started it. She had TERRIBLE side effects from inhaled and topical steroids for pneumonia prevention and eczema. The depressed moods, suicidal talk and meltdowns were contant. On THIS medication, she has an occaisional meltdown, but so far, much more manageable. No more suicidal talk and self-injurous behavior, no moe bed-wetting. I have noticed that she has become a constant sensory seeker. She flips on and off the furniture and asks for a bear hug at least 2 times and hour. She has been enrolled in gymnastics because of this and LOVES it. I have reduced sugar, dairy and gluten in her diet to help with the eczema and general inflamation. I aslo give her EFAs (Essential Fatty Acids), vitamin D, a multivitamin with a probiotic, and extra zinc at signs of a cold. So far she has done well, health-wize. She is aware of what the steroids did to her and feels comforted in knowing

Drug from hell, Think seriously before taking it. withdrawals are your worst nightmare so don't take it in the first place.

Initially, his Gastroenterologist advised that he would not become dependent on Miralax. Sometimes bloating occurs. Usually, he takes 1 capful, then I decrease it 1/2 cap, then 1-tsp, then 1/2 tsp daily. Just depends if you're consistent.

Started with the 25ug/h patch, gradually increased to the 100ug/h, with increases 1x per week. Have had 6 surgeries for the Crohns, along with the leg pain, so pain reief was/is a major concern. Took some time to find a doctor willing to prescribe these meds for the length of time I've used them, but finally found a doc with some compassion. Only problem is keeping patch on for the 72 hours, need to use tape after 2nd day. Cost is very high, my insurance pays all but $3.00, otherwise cost would be close to $500 per month.

Rhinocort has helped my post nasal drip. I just don't like the side effects. I didn't have these side effects everyday. My side effects would come and go. Everybody is diffrent and all drugs have side effects.
