I would not recommend in toddlers and young children.
Terrible nightmares. Anxiety and now periodic facial spasms. Very emotional. Scared. Hallucinate. He is also felt like he couldn't talk/move his jaw right after the facial spasms would occur.

bad metallic taste in mouth. Haven't slept since I began taking it 4 days ago. Mild headache and you can't take Tylenol, Aleave ect. While on levoquin. You can shit through a screen door first 3days
When I was prescribed this medication it was for my blood pressure which was 160/100, I was told to take 50 mg. I am not big on medication, so I only took 25 mg. Within a week, my blood pressure was down. Eventually I noticed that my panic/anxiety also had decreased. I figured this was in my head. When I went back to the doctor and told her, she said that this medication was used for anxiety too. I never knew that. Now, I have lost 20 lbs. and exercise daily and my blood pressure is pretty low. But, I am staying on this medication mainly for the anxiety. It has been so wonderful feeling the way I do I don't want to go off it. My blood pressure only gets as low as 100/60 so I think it's okay.
Why aren't patients given all the facts? After reading about the small advantage for taking this versus the side effects, I would have stuck with calcium and vitamin D. I hope this pain will start to subside and not last long. Do doctors report to FDA or manufacturer every time a patient has side effects? I used to work in a physician's office, and I never saw any such reporting.
You don't realize how wonderful this pill is until you run out of it. The blurred vision, big stomach and serious hair lossdidn't occur until sixteen years after I started the pills! Good thing I had real thick hair to begin with.

It seems impossible, but I credit claritin for "curing" my life long battle with nasal allergies. My doctor prescribed it several years ago, and I took it daily for approximately 2 years. I ran out one day, and never got around to refilling the prescription, but neither have I ever had problems with nasal allergies again! I'm having fluid in my ears, so I'm trying it again. Let you know how it comes out this time. Sorry so many others have had side effects.
Borderline Personality Disorder
Gained 10lbs in 3 months, have had long crying spells for no reason,fatigue, and loss of motivation. Glad to see other people had the same problems; I thought I might just be crazy!
