Tremendous indigestion and constant nausea. I also had muscle weakness, tiredness, increased urination, slight ringing in the ears, headache and possible bruising on my skin. Made by Northstar RX LL.
I was given this for a Urinary Tract infection. However, the side effects were so severe that I had to stop it. I starting taking Cranberry tablets (purchased at the local health food store) instead.
No side effects- this was the third antibiotic I have tried and it is the best!
Brilliant drug, cleared my UTI and no side effects at all. There are hardly any reviews on this drug and I wonder if it's because there is nothing bad to say!

CEFADROXIL (CEFADROXIL/CEFADROXIL HEMIHYDRATE): This medication is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections (e.g., strep throat, skin and urinary tract infections). It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Timing is a bit difficult when going out to eat because it works too well. I hate leaving the table when the food arrives to take the dosage but if I do it before we order I have too low of a dip
at first mild depression (feeling "bummed out" all the time) lethargic.. low energy.. then after 3 weeks worsened to more severe depression and extreme fatigue. vivid dreams, nausea.up side - cigarettes tasted gross. had no desire to smoke.

Extreme gas.. Sore swollen throat & tongue.. Hurt to swallow after 3rd dose.. Made it hard to breath.. Dry scaly rash on body..
Works well but clips off emotional highs and lows. Withdrawal symptons are unpleasant (mostly vertigo). It took me 3 months to taper from 20mg to 0.
Getting on medication for my sleeping problems was a huge turning point for me when I entered college. I have what could be called "sleep anxiety" - panic going to bed, panic while I am sleeping, nightmares and difficulty staying asleep in general. Since i was about 8.I cycle this on-off with lunesta. I take 30-45 mg temazepam about 20 nights a month. Was on 60mg 25-30 days per month for about 6 years. Never had any real issues except concern of addiction which is why I mix it up now. I take a break from all sleep meds when an opportunity persents itself, and I get rebound insomnia - which for me means i don't sleep at all for a night or so and then I just get crappy sleep for a couple of days and start my meds again...
I didnt get pregnant so it did work for that. BUT, I had my period for the first 7 mobths. Then no period at all. Im always tired and always in a bad mood. Its making me someone i am not.
I can’t take penicillin because I have a severe allergic reaction to it and would go into anaphylaxis shock so I was given this medication.
Don't take SSRIs if you have circulatory, heart, or breathing conditions
My DEXA shows some slight osteopenia in my back and my hips are fine. That's improved over the years, with just lifestyle changes, weight loss (60 pounds!) and increased calcium. I have had panic attacks for the last year, but until this week they've been totally under control with Zoloft. But I've felt the anxiety symptoms creeping back all week, and last night's attacks and nightmares have left me utterly drained and feeling horrible. I don't *need* this medicine, and although the drug rep apparently sold it to my doctor as a miracle cure for everything :-P I'm done with it. Recommendation: DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG.
