GI effects are numerous. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN TWO EVERY 6 HOURS! my wife took too much and was vommitting for three hours.
CAP-PROFEN (IBUPROFEN): Ibuprofen is used to relieve pain from various conditions such as headache, dental pain, menstrual cramps, muscle aches, or arthritis. It is also used to reduce fever and to relieve minor aches and pain due to the common cold or flu. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking your body's production of certain natural substances that cause inflammation. This effect helps to decrease swelling, pain, or fever. If you are treating a chronic condition such as arthritis, ask your doctor about non-drug treatments and/or using other medications to treat your pain. See also Warning section. I had bad back pain for about 6 years now. I first started with Kadian 30, one pill a day for a month and it seemed to do noting for my pain. I then went to Oxycodone, two 10/325 mg tablets a day. This seemed to help quit a bit, but still I was in a lot of pain while doing certain things.Yesterday my doctor put me on Kadian 20 which kind of disapointed me knowing Kadian 30 didn't work before. But this time I was to take the Kadian 20 plus my Oxycodone and thought that maybe that would help. It didn't as of yet, 24 hours later. The only reason I wanted someting different other then the Oxycodone is the Oxycodone don't last long enough and I have to go 14 to 15 hours with out any medication and I'm always being wakened from my sleep in pain. So I haven't goten a good night sllep in years, well ,maybe a few nights. I really don't think doctors give patiants a high enough does of pain killers so that a patiant can led a more normal life, and thats my problem.... any time I try to do anything I end up in pain for days and I'm pretty much a useless piece of meat.....So this is the seconed time I took Kadian, the first time for a month with no improvement in pain, and I didn't expect much with a lower dose this seconed time. Maybe I'll see an improvement in a few days, but I'm not counting on it.
Still really scared about this medication because of the side effects however really scared about what the future holds with my RA. Dx. 3 years ago with RA. I have been on methotrexiate,folic acid and nexium since dx. I have tried other medications that either sent my liver enzymes sky high or made me so sick I could not function.I still try to work full time and stay as active as possible. I guess if you have doubts about this medication, you have to weigh the risks against the benefits. When you stay so fatigued that your first thought in the morning is just get thru 8 hours of work and you can go home and go back to bed then if Embrel makes it better its a benefit. If when you set down at home to watch a movie and then you try to get up and you are so stiff that you can hardly walk then it is a benefit to try Embrel. If you continually have tendonitis along with joint pain and stiffness then if Embrel works its a benefit. If you are also watching your fingers shift in the wrong direction or you have the edema,redness, and warmth in your joints then if Embel works its a benefit. I am sure you know the risks. I just want to prevent any further damage. I already feel somewhat better and have seen less stiffness with just 2 injections.
I took a 4mg tapered dose pack for six days. The first few days I felt on top of the world. Then I started having problems sleeping. After I completely finished the pack the side effects were out of control. Depression and anxiety like I’ve never imagined, I wanted to die. I was scared for no reason and was terrified to be alone. I couldn’t function or handle any stress. I had to leave my job bc of this crap, I just couldn’t function. I couldn’t eat, I lost 15 pounds in a couple weeks and I’m already small so I looked like a skeleton and had to drink ensure shakes bc I just couldn’t eat anything. It was the worst experience of my life. I’ve been off it for months now and I am better but it took a while for me personally. I think I have ptsd from this stupid stuff, the things it can do to your mind are terrifying, it was like torture. I will never take it again. Even if some doctor says I need it to live I’d just rather not. That’s just me, I’ve heard it works for some but if you don’t have to chance it just don’t. The side effects can be worse than what it’s meant to treat.
unproductive painful cough/cold
I was also told I might not ever be able to have kids after taking this, when I took this, it was still in the test stages and I had to sign a waiver, it helped clear the psoriasis, but it is not worth it at all.
Completely put a stop to my panic attacks and depression.It doesn't change who you are, it just helps the 'real you' come out. Being scared of things I shouldn't be scared of and letting my phobias control my life is not how I want to live.Paxil took that all away and I will NEVER go off of it.Greatest drug ever made for anxiety disorders!

Ear infection because of piercing
I have weighed the same for over forty years, until I started taking eliquis just eight months ago. Since then I have gained over twenty pounds, and feel bloated all over. My diet has not increased, in fact I am eating less now than before I started this medication.
OK for first 8 or 9 days then started with bloating. I looked pregnant. My abdomen, especially lower, was uncomfortable. I then started with what felt like gas pains and nausea. It was really bad to the point I was pacing around the bedroom. Lasted a few days.
