I was diagnoised with hep b 3 year ago. I wad feeling fine, but the viral load was to high so doc put me on entecavir 0,5 mg every day. The load is undetec. now, but my health is a mess. I have upset stomach, dizziness, fatigue, pirozis, loose stoole, feelling ill al the time. I do not know if it is entecavir but i want out off it.
I have almost all the side effects, but the doctors say it is not the drug that makes me feel this way...I will stop taking it in the near future
BARACLUDE (ENTECAVIR): See also Warning section. Entecavir is used to treat long-term hepatitis B infection. Hepatitis B is an infection of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus. Long-term infection can cause liver damage, rarely liver cancer, and liver failure. Entecavir helps to decrease the amount of hepatitis B virus in your body. It is unknown if this medication lowers your chance of getting liver cancer or liver damage. Entecavir is an antiviral that belongs to a class of drugs known as hepatitis B virus nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Entecavir is not a cure for hepatitis B. Severe hip pain, right side. took for 2 1/2 years weekly. Limping, initially flu=like, difficulty getting up and moving. feeling of being poisoned. Maxed out on Ibuprophen, Finally discovered Tramadol.. After 4 yrs, still taking daily, with aspirin and homeopathic remedies. Ordered off of walking by bone doctor who was not in the least bit interested in drug causing problems, OB stated he had grilled drus salesman, taking 4000 daily of D3, of course Calcium, Mag and anything else to treat this condition. Before taking at age 60, was a healthy, happy person, now at 65, ordered off of walking, bicycle helps, constantly dealing with hip pain.
Weight gain - approx 35lb. Very vivid dreams. Some insomnia. Tiredness in afternoons. Cold feet and hands. Breathlessness when walking up hills (this might be due to the weight gain though).
On the second night of taking cipro I started feeling a tingling in my legs.Took it the next morning and my legs and arms were excessively sore.. not worth itHopefully will get rid of these symptoms.....
Im in a lot of pain but I Feel much better physically & mentally without it! NASTY crap!!NEVER AGAIN!!!
Happy that I found this site, and many thanks to everybody who took the effort for writing their experiences. I stopped taking Nexium. I used Altosec with no or little side effect, went to Doctor for check up and suggested to go on Nexium 40 because it’s “the best”, it works fine but the side effects is not worth it. Will never use Nexuim again.
Projectile vomiting several times that night--felt awful. High blood pressure--165/90 (mine is usually low normal; very sick for days.This stuff should be banned. I never had a problem with magnesium citrate, felt good in fact.
extreme weight gain atleast 20 pounds and cannot take it off, if anyone has suggestions please email me.
No side effects from the Remicade infusion itself. But, I feel that the Remicade has caused a joint problem.
