AVASTIN (BEVACIZUMAB): This medication is a man-made antibody (IgG1) used to treat kidney, cervical, ovarian, colon, and rectal cancer. Bevacizumab is also used to treat lung cancer (non-small cell type), certain types of brain tumors, and cancer found in the fallopian tube or lining of the abdominal wall (peritoneal). This drug works by blocking a certain protein (vascular endothelial growth factor-VEGF) thereby decreasing the blood supply to the tumor and slowing tumor growth. Imuran is a very good drug for crohns, but long term use can be very damaging it seems. I have problems with it now and I feel it is time to change to another drug for my crohns. Hopefully my doctor can give me something to keep my crohns in check.I have been taking this med for at least 24 years.

I am going to wean myself off the medication gradually. Does anyone have any suggestions for doing this? Dealing with migraine headaches may be a better solution than all the side effects from Neurontin. I wish I had not used this

Its very easy for your doctor to prescribe the drug to you, but little do they know about the
