Atralin (tretinoin) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Atralin (tretinoin)

flaky skin at application sites.

My dermatologist prescribed this when I inquired about a solution to my ageing face skin texture. No not wrinkles, all the other annoying changes to the skin on my face. I use it all the time, skipping days here and there. The improvement was noticeable to me as well as my wife after a couple of weeks. Its tightens the skin and made it smoother. Its prescribed for acne but by removing dead skin in the process it leaves behind some great results and a little goes a long way. I experienced no side effects and I follow up in the AM with a SPF face cream.

ATRALIN (TRETINOIN): This medication is used to treat acne. It may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

Was supposed to take for 10 days but quit after 7 especially after reading these comments. People were experiencing the same things I was. I quit 4 days ago and my arm still aches and tingles something fierce. Although it did clear my ear infection, I'm not sure it was worth it. There must have been a better way.

For chronic uti's, bladder and kidney infections purchase a product called UTI clear is has been a life saver to me. I have been antibiotic free for 2 months after taking cipro for 3 months at a time due to my bladder infections. The UTI clear helps your body get rid of the infections naturally without the side effects and use of antibiotics. This product has saved my life. Try it and you will never take antibiotics ever again for a bladder, uti or kidney infection :)

After reading this site, I think I'll discontinue before things get worse. I have a minor fungul infection (or whatever it is) so it may not be worth it.

It's done more harm than good for my son. Headaches, Dizzy and severe stomach pain. He is no longer going to be taking it. Has anyone found anything to help with the stomach pains?

I began taking Levora because the advice nurse prescibed it and thought it would be fine. I already have children and didnt want to take any chances of possibly having any more at this time. I am currently on Levora as i type this. I came across this web-site becuase i googled my systems and this page came up. I just dont know what the heck is wrong with me. I am yelling at my boyfriend and i keep doing thinking he's cheating when he has not even changed his daily pattern with me, he say Im bugging out. I dont have any tollerance for anything at this time, not even my children, I cry about every little thing even sad movies and horrible night time news stories ( which is not like me at all) I ask my doctor to switch me to Yaz, this is my last night on Levora. Then mabe my family and friends wont hate me anymore. I will never ever in my life take Levora again!!!!

Horrible taste in mouth, fever, chills, fatigue, nausea, vomiting, shakiness, muscle cramps, headaches

Of note that in over 20 visits with three different physicians I was repeatedly asked about my symptoms and the medications I take regularly. On NOT ONE SINGLE OCCASION did any physician ever wonder whether my symptoms derived from taking this drug. But yes, they wanted to prescribe other drugs for some of the symptoms. I basically had to figure this out myself.
