LUPRON (LEUPROLIDE ACETATE): Leuprolide is used to stop early puberty (precocious puberty) in children. It helps to delay sexual development (such as growth of the breasts/testicles) and the start of menstrual periods. It also helps slow down early bone growth to increase the likelihood of reaching normal adult height. A true life saver.. Nothing else worked except a water fast and an elimination diet.
The side effects were not that bad, but after stopping (trying to stop) a few times, the side effects got worse. I've been down to 0.25 for the last few weeks and it's been really tough. The dizzyness and GI issues have been constant. I've also been really distant with my family.
for polyp control and birth control
Tried every med available, only prednisone improved UC. Last flare resulted in hospital for 12 days. Prednisone / Asacol no longer providing relief. Started Imuran / Prednisone / Asacol and in remission for 4 weeks now. Starting to ween Prednisone, hoping Imuran / Asacol will maintain remission. So far very happy with Imuran!
I do not know if I would take this pill again, it's ok. Nothing major happened to me but there were a few uncomfortable side effects.
didn't sleep first night taking full pill-took at about 1130 AM, trying half now but want to go back up to full pill and early as possible in AM
Did give me some relief with the internal swelling in my head and chest. Until the muscular cramping started.

Fever, chills, extreme fatigue, and layers upon layers of white and bumps on tongue. Also had a very red left eye. 3 days off, tongue is returning back to normal, fever is gone but I still am very weak.
I felt some little improvement in hours. I would have been much worse without it. I did get tired and needed to take it with food, not just coffee
