PRILOSEC (OMEPRAZOLE): Omeprazole is used to treat certain stomach and esophagus problems (such as acid reflux, ulcers). It works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach makes. It relieves symptoms such as heartburn, difficulty swallowing, and persistent cough. This medication helps heal acid damage to the stomach and esophagus, helps prevent ulcers, and may help prevent cancer of the esophagus. I eat a normal (think nice restaurant) amount of food for each meal and i feel satisfied. As others have said, you never really feel stuffed...but I don't miss that feeling.

Severe pins and needles in feet and hands, all my joints started hurting all the time. The only good thing was that I lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks and my mania was controlled by this med. But the benefits of the drug didn't outweigh the side effects and I still have the pins and needles in my feet and I don't know when or if it will ever go away.
