After having a surgical incision open up in several spots and suffering burn like skin sensitivities, this medication was very well tolerated and helped my wounds heal quickly and nicely.
SILVADENE (SILVER SULFADIAZINE): This medication is used with other treatments to help prevent and treat wound infections in patients with serious burns. Silver sulfadiazine works by stopping the growth of bacteria that may infect an open wound. This helps to decrease the risk of the bacteria spreading to surrounding skin, or to the blood where it can cause a serious blood infection (sepsis). Silver sulfadiazine belongs to a class of drugs known as sulfa antibiotics. Silver sulfadiazine must not be used on premature babies or on newborns during the first 2 months of life because of the risk of serious side effects. Backache and chills on the first day; muscle soreness& weakness in arms, back, hips, legs, ankles, and bottom of feet. Felt like I had over-stretched.
I started taking the drug every other day instead of once a day a couple of months ago. It seems to lessen the hair loss and I still get most of the benefit of the drug. Discussed with my dr. who doubts it's from Myrbetriq--I should get other causes ruled out. I'll finish out my current rx and see how things stand. I still have about 3 mo of it left at the current rate.
I stopped the norvasc completely, even though I know I need it for the angina. The swelling subsided. My Dr. had started me on 10 mg. intially, I think that was one of the problems...dosage way to high. I've tried cutting the pills in fours and am taking 2.5 with no side effects and no angina. I will try to increase it to 5mg. All in all this is a very good medicine, but if you experience the side effects it's not the one for you or needs some major readjusting.
Tremors, SEVERE anxiety, sore throat, dizziness, fatigue, numb hands and face, bad stomach cramps, back aches.
First day or so, nausea; lost a couple pounds in the beginning until I got used to the medication; I get the infamous "brain shivers" if I miss only one dose.

None until a year ago. Then tinnitus started in ears. Now have in both ears and tingling throughout body. Sometimes feels like something crawling inside or feeling of buzzing in body. Dr considering taking me off and using beta blocker with other diuretics.
