Side Effects for Loprox (ciclopirox)

This is a topical solution. It is used once each day. I have had no problems with it. It just has not cured the fungus.

LOPROX (CICLOPIROX): This medication is used to treat fungal skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm. This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. Ciclopirox is an antifungal medication that works by stopping the growth of fungus. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

first few days just a decrease in urge to smoke.Started to take 2 and felt totally on another planet, losing track of conversations and talking nonsense and repeating myself. However didnt want to smoke after day 4 so stopped before target date.on the fifth day of quitting feel extremely emotional, crying for no reason even at work which is no good, totally paranoid and angry, have spells where I am calm and then can look at the way I was an hour earlier and think ive gone crazy then ten minutes later im doing it again.Ive totally lost my appetite and am so paranoid at times thing my teeth will fall out!

Extreme depression, tired, light headed, chest rash, dizziness (constantly tripping over my own feet), loss of any sort of concentration, dehydration, dry mouth, disgusting metallic taste.

Alphagan made me very drowsy and so does clonidine, so the increased dose of clonidine to counteract the elevated BP caused by AlphaganP made me fall asleep suddenly at any moment. Now that i've stopped the Alphagan, my BP is slowly coming down. I didn't realize that Alphagan could increase my BP until i read it on webMD

It seemed to moderately help with sleep on the 2mg. I'd occasionally get the bad after taste but assumed it was from the pill hitting my tongue. I recently got bumped up to 3mg and the horrendous after taste is ten times worse. The after taste is so bad I'm actually WAKING UP because of it. Kind of defeats the purpose of the drug. I'm gonna have to give it up which is a shame since nothing else works for me

I got the fright of my life this morning, thought i was having a miscarriage! I remember last week i saw a white paper-like tissue/skin discharge, but didn't think much of it. This morning however, realised my underwear was wet, and when i went to the toilet these HUGE clumps literally fell out of my vagina! I examined it and it looked like clumpy white flesh, with blood in between. Nowhere in the side-effects did it mention anything like this so i thought my vagina and uterus are falling out!! :-) Decided to read on the internet - Thank God this website made me realise that other women have also experienced this side-effect. I have one more dosage to use, otherwise i feel a lot better.

After a week taking Osphena, I started to experience abdominal pain and insomnia. However it did help somewhat my discomphort. After 10 days I noted also weight gain. I decided then to take it every other day. The abdominal pain went away but the pill not longer worked as previously. Now after a month, I am looking for other options with less side effects.

Just read the side effects Bupropion (Welbutrin). Read it many years ago but I guess I didn't pay attention. I've been on some dose of it and different labs (all generic) over the course of 3-4 years. I also took it in mid 20's but only vaguely recall nausea, dry mouth, and sweats. Recently increas my dose from 150-300mg and I feel terrible. So this is why I feel sick all the time? Imagine having the flu EVERY DAY and then toss in weight loss and dehydration. Constantly feel hungry but when foods is in front of me I have a loss of appetite. Oh heap on some paranoia! I'm stopping it completely and just going to be on Prozac. My mother also has Dysthymia and she now uses Prozac. That seemed to work for me when I was in the hospital last month. I'm going to switch or work on lower doses to just stop completely. The side effects at brutal.

Sleepiness and rarely some dizziness. I take 100mg every morning because I think the prometrium gives me a calming feeling. My GYN MD seemed surprised and said I was the exception to the rule as most women prefer to take it at bedtime.

Horrible headaches, I already have issues with anxiety and this medication made it a million times worse. It also has caused a horrible bloating sensation! If I eat it feels like I'll pop!

Extremely tired and drowsy first few weeks, then subsided somewhat. More vivid dreams, would not call them nightmares though. Slight decrease in libido. I am a avid runner and I felt extrememly weak and unable to complete my runs the first few weeks on this med. Slight constipation as well, but this is subsiding
