Side Effects for Pulmicort respules (budesonide)

PULMICORT RESPULES (BUDESONIDE): This medication is used to treat certain bowel conditions (such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis). While budesonide does not cure these conditions, it may decrease symptoms such as pain and diarrhea. Budesonide is an anti-inflammatory drug (corticosteroid hormone). It works by decreasing the body's natural defense response (immune response). (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

This has really been very beneficial to take. Without, I would never be able to walk. This has been a life saver for me. Thank goodness my doctor put me on it for without this great medicine I would have no life at all.

Severe nausea on day 1 followed by chest and abdominal pains, abnormal tiredness, dry mouth, loss of appetite, wooziness on day two. I know it's not good to take them on an empty stomcah but eating and drinking does not help.

my husband after 2 hour of taking avelox passed away went into cardiac arrest

I blacked out in the shower after one pill at 10 mg. Woke up to muscle weakness, shakiness, extreme vertigo and nausea.

IT is a nasty medicine but is supposed to be effective for it purposes. It is a shame that there are so many side effects.

Completely knocked me out and I was left with no memory of the procedure whatsoever. I took it with demerol, and was very pleased with the results.

I have used Metrogel a number of times but this last time I used it I experienced white/yellow chucky discharge. I thought I had a bad yeast infection. I got very scared but then I found this site and learned many other women have also experienced this.

A few nights ago I had a horrible nightmare which I suspected was caused by the drug. Then last night I had one of the most vivid, evil nightmares of my life. I kept drifting back into sleep and the same nightmare immediately started again. This happened 3-4 times. I am CERTAIN that this is a side-effect from Wellbutrin as I have never experienced anything like this before. Hopefully this will disappear over time (I am less than 3 weeks in) but if the nightmares continue then I am coming off the drug and trying something else. I have previously been on Venlafaxine but suffered sexual dysfunction, so wanted to try Wellbutrin as I heard there are no such effects. Also, I have suffered occassional headaches since starting Wellbutrin but these can usually be sorted with a couple of headache tablets.

Prescribed due to normal but low testosterone. I was at low 300s but my urologist wanted me to be above 500. I stopped using it after the birth of my daughter -- can't risk the chance of rubbing the med on her.

I had a total hysterectomy and struggled with insomnia and night time panic ever since. I've spent huge amounts of time and money trying to resolve these problems, but both stopped almost immediately when a GYN started me on Prometrium 100mg before bed. Her premise was that the estrogen I take for severe hot flashes (I use a Femring) was overstimulating me and that it needed to be balanced by the calming effects of progesterone. I stopped the Prometrium for a couple of weeks because of cost and side effects (actually very tolerable relative to panic and insomnia!), but the original problems returned with a vengeance. I'm back on the med and thankful for it---sleeping well and without panic attacks.
