pretty minor. I actually didn't let myself read the side effects until I had been on it for several weeks. The only thing I recognized was a slight taste thing...a minor price to pay for the fungus FINALLY going away!

Works very well to keep me alert during the day

Dizzy, Fatigue, insomnia, cant think, Weight gain, this is a bad drug!

Again I cannot emphasize enough that you must take an aspirin or 1/2 an aspirin at least 1/2 hour before taking the Niaspan. Then it can be tolerated. I also take it at night.

Do not take this if you have anxiety/depression in your family! It enhances all symptoms and fears!

Paranoia, anxiety, depression, constipation, akathasia, shake, tremors, insomnia etc

Given in migraine cocktail at ER & in hospital. Made me feel on edge, anxious, and restless. Couldn't sit still. Have doctor give you another dose of Benadryl- it will help. For the migraine cocktail, it's easier this or compazine which was like this but 100x worse. Didn't help my migraine.

Relaxed, euphoric. Helped a great deal with pain.

Loss of appetite and "constipation" -- which would be better described as severe medically dangerous intestinal blockage. No reduction in anxiety.
