This med at 180 mg brought my blood pressure down somewhat, but was not completely successful. The tremors/trembling (a rare side-effect) made me discontinue it.
amazing medicine for hypertension. Combined with lisinopril, brought my BP down to 125/80 from a high of 210/160 in one week.
VERELAN (VERAPAMIL HYDROCHLORIDE): Verapamil is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. My daughter at 6 months of age became really constipated. The doctor prescribed the generic form of Miralax - Glycolax I think that is what it was called. It worked great. When Miralax went OTC, I had to switch, this was back in April 2008. It does not seem to work as well. She gets 2 teaspoons every other day in juice or milk, she is now 18 months old. If she is not on it, she is really constipated - she likes to hold it in. I'm a bit disappointed in the product but I have no choice but to use it. It will eventually work but takes a couple days. I'm not looking for a "blow out" just something to ease the process along for her.

I have been very happy on Baclofen for over 4 years. Just in the last few months my spasms are creeping back. I now have lower back spasms and the top of both hips. My shoulders and neck are hard as a rock. I am discussing this with Dr. next appointment.

So glad I'm taking it. Have had illness since I was 12 yrs. old, nothing else worked. Unable to come off meds though.
3 weeks in and already I've gained about 16 pounds. I feel disgusting and pretty moody, and the pain in my breasts is unreal. I can't even shower properly because the slightest touch while washing is enough to make me scream. Going off this pill right now, since I now find out it isn't even effective - and if I gain any more weight I won't fit into a single thing I own!! So bad!
