Side Effects for Dynacirc cr (isradipine)

extreme fatigue, acid reflux, blurred vision

I have become a sort of vegetable on this drug. A once active, life-loving 60 year old who now hopes she can cook dinner or walk to the mailbox. And BP is only out of the danger zone, not anywhere near good.

horrible joint pain, fatique, muscle pain, headaches, complete loss of quality of life. It took 10 months and 3 doctors to finally figure it out. I thought I was dying, horrible drug.

horrible, awful, should not be on the market. I google dynacirc and the side effects I was having were not listed. I had to google dynacirc SEVERE side effects in order to see what they were. I wish I could sue them for the year of my life that I lost.

Occasional minor flushing of the face

Very consistent regulation of blood pressure though it doesn't quite last 24 hours and it needs to be taken twice a day. No interaction with PD meds. Much better than the ACE inhibitor lisinopril with regards to consistency and edema.Hopefully, it will slow the PD progression as well..

Seems to do the job with no side effects.

Isolated Systolic Hypertension

None so far and I've been taking this medication for 2 months now. It isn't quite as good as an ACE inhibitor, but lacks all the nasty side effects that the ACE has (for me anyway)

DYNACIRC CR (ISRADIPINE): Isradipine is used with or without other medications to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Isradipine is called a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA) Download our Free Resource Guide:

Medicine definitely works to stop cough. The worst side effect was the itchiness. Did not experience anything near a high from the codeine.

Taken continuously for long periods or too high a dosage can leave me feeling a little spaced out and forgetful.

withdrawl symptoms - sweating, shaking

I'm continuing a long term treatment for cancer which has a potential to increase depression which often follows a cancer diagnosis. I resisted taking anything for depression and anxiety but I couldn't stand being with myself. I feel better now, I'm calm and manage my break through anxiety well. It does not help me sleep but does help me be calm about not sleeping well. It is a good choice for me

Not enough info on the label about potential side-affects and I believe this is intentional.

Increasing nausea, insomnia, blurred vision, headaches

The only reason that I continue taking it is that it DOES help the nerve pain in my legs and it has also helped my fibromyalgia, a little bonus that I was not expecting.

Anxiety, insomnia, headache, irritability

Sleepy,Lethargic,Dizzy, Difficulty Breathing all the time!!Hard to exercise, always depressed. It affects my life and my work.Makes me feel lazy and incapable of doing things, even to think and make decisions! It is terrible and I agree with a lot of the comments by other people.

I've had few side effects. There was some light-headedness and stomach queasiness at first, but once my dosage was cut in half, from 10 mg to 5 mg, those improved. I also have a slight cough occasionally, but never for too long.
