Cardizem la (diltiazem hydrochloride) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Cardizem la (diltiazem hydrochloride)

When I was on cardizem 120 my chest pain wasn't so bad, had an increase a month later and my angina that was controlled started again and my palpitatitions that had stopped mostly started back. And I started having more tightness in my chest. Not sure if it's even lowering my blood pressure much. My pressures stay around the higher 130s and 145 over lighter 80s and 90s.

CARDIZEM LA (DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE): Diltiazem is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent chest pain (angina). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. When used regularly, diltiazem can decrease the number and severity of episodes of chest pain from angina. It may help increase your ability to exercise. Diltiazem is called a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels in the body and heart so blood can flow more easily. Diltiazem also lowers your heart rate. These effects help the heart work less hard and lower blood pressure. I was getting horrible chest and lower jaw pain. I thought I was having a heart attack. I called my cardiologist and he checked me out and said it was panic attacks (I am going through alot of stress). I stopped lasik for a week and the chest and jaw tightness went away. So, I am going to assume it was Lasik. Will stop again and see what happens.

March 27, 2021 was my first dose and I'm concerned about taking the second dose. The injection site didn't hurt but I had a headache like I've never had before.

Terrible pain in legs and calves. Hips hurt so bad cannot walk.

I tried OTC Claritin for allergies, but it didn't help. My doctor gave me a week's supply of Allegra, and it worked great. When that ran out, I tried OTC Zyrtec, with disastrous results. I called 911 after suffering nearly every side effect. I would NOT recommend that anyone take this drug, especially children.

nausea, gas pains about every 2 days and then diarreha, and bruising at the injection site.

NoneI sleep like a baby for the first time in a long long time. I went they a couple other medications that made me too groggy to function the next day or just didn't work. I sleep 5-6 hours. But most important I stay asleep. I use to wake up and stay awake for hours at a time and fall asleep right before the alarm clock went off.

My doc prescribed 60 mg of Cymbalta, but told me to start at 30 mg for a week. I experienced the described symptoms on only 30 mg. I tried 60 mg of Cymbalta for a week and felt like it was going to kill me. My doctor looked at me like I was crazy when I told her this. She said 30 mg shouldn't be doing anything for me.

Panic attacks, feelings of impending doom, manic and suicidal thoughts. Episodes last from two to five hours.

In the beginning there were minor side effects, with time they go away! You have to hang in there and wait for the full effect of this miracle drug to work it's magic.

Keep being told it can cause glaucoma which I have anyway
