Side Effects for Cardizem cd (diltiazem hydrochloride)

CARDIZEM CD (DILTIAZEM HYDROCHLORIDE): Diltiazem is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and prevent chest pain (angina). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. When used regularly, diltiazem can decrease the number and severity of episodes of chest pain from angina. It may help increase your ability to exercise. Diltiazem is called a calcium channel blocker. It works by relaxing blood vessels in the body and heart so blood can flow more easily. Diltiazem also lowers your heart rate. These effects help the heart work less hard and lower blood pressure. Lower back pain and shoulder pain

I started seeing a chiropractor and the neck adjustments he does lower my blood pressure by 5 points within five minutes. My pressure is now in the 117-118 range every time I go in after only 2 weeks. No medications. No side effects. I am very happy.

Taken off of Lamictal after rash on my back, shoulders, chest, and neck showed up after 1 week. All I could think is thank God for the rash, because this med was making me nuts! I can't believe that it's supposed to stabilize moods. I felt suicidal, at times possibly homicidal, had odd thoughts, was very irritable and it was getting worse day by day. Personally, I was on Dilantin for 18 years and tried this one because it was supposed to be a newer better med with less side effects. Yeah, whatever!!! Don't get me wrong, Dilantin has some bad long-term side effects-but I couldn't take Lamictal for even a week! That tells you how bad Lamictal can be! In fact, I wish my doctors had to take this stuff, then maybe they would be a little more sensitive to what the heck it does to your mind! Now, apparently this med works for some people, but if you take it and feel like you're going whacko-trust me it's not just you. Everyone around me noticed the mood swings because they were so sho

For my first month, I was on it 20 mg twice a day. My second month, I was on it 20 mg three times a day. And now I am just finishing up my third month at 40 mg twice a day. At first, my skin started to get better with no cysts and only 2-3 new pimples each week. After that it got worse and since then it's been back and forth. Within the past few days, I've noticed that my skin has gotten a lot better. I have 2 cysts and no other new pimples (no whiteheads or blackheads). My skin feels very soft and smooth, and it is not that dry. I have scars on my cheeks, but I had them from before being on Accutane. It's been annoying when my skin got worse when taking it, but I know that it will get better eventually. Now that my skin has gotten a lot better, I'm so excited, because I know my skin will be perfect soon. The one thing that is actually annoying is that after I come off it (in 2 months), I'll probably have to get some type of scar treatment if the scars don't go away when I'm

This is the second time on Humira, first was in 2008 but ended up going to resection, now on it again cause nothing else works, also on methotrexate, prednisone, B12, folic acid and flagyl!Pain in entire body (to many areas to name) headaches, dry cough, eye problems, hair loss, fatigue, nausea, numbness in left side knee and toes! I have told my dr about all symptoms but he says I'm fine, had a scope and crohns seem to be in remission but UC is active! I am not sure how much more I can take! Seems I feel worse on the humira than when I just deal with my crohns and UC!!Good luck everyone! Glad everyone here knows what eachother is going through!

Don't quit know if it is worth the unhealthy feeling and unhappy shape I've become.
