I have been taking Boniva for 2 years with no adverse side effects. I took my first dose of this generic Boniva 4 days ago and had horrible side effects including numbness and tingling on one side of my face, it felt like something popped in my jaw (spasm), numbness around my midsection, and insomnia. My doctor said these were all side effects. The insurance company decided to change my prescription to generic without my doctor's consent. My doctor took me off of this and the Boniva permanently. I would not recommend either drug to anyone. They should be taken off the market.
IBANDRONATE SODIUM (IBANDRONATE SODIUM): Ibandronate is used to prevent and treat certain types of bone loss (osteoporosis). Osteoporosis causes bones to become thinner and break more easily. Your chance of developing osteoporosis increases after menopause, as you age, or if you take corticosteroid medications (such as prednisone) for long periods. This medication works by slowing bone loss to help maintain strong bones and reduce the risk of broken bones (fractures). Ibandronate belongs to a class of medications called bisphosphonates. Yes, this does work for my muscular and joint pain. But, consequently I'm losing my mind in the process. I am weening off Cymbalta now. I informed my Doctor again, this time I decided to take my family in with me to tell him how different I am now. NOW he listened to me. (Pharmaceutical kick backs!!!) I also called Cymbalta's 1-800-545-5979, I spoke with a women about my side effects. All she could explain to me was, studies done on Cymbalta. I was frustrurated with her lack of interest or information given! So, here I am. I believe Cymbalta is dangerous.
Abilify helped with my depression and stabliize my mood. Though I've noticed lately that my agression/anger is coming back which makes me think that the Abilfy is losing its effectiveness. Also take Lamotrigine 200mg, Mirtazapine 45mg & Wellbutrin 450mg
The good thing about this drug is that it provides fast reflief of the MIGRAINE within 30 minutes. However, I was soon flooded with feelings of fear, paranoia, nausea, chest pains and tightness, persistent chills and sweating, insomnia, anxiety and a queasy stomach.
New partner - penetration was impossible after prolapse repair 3 years ago - due to v. constricting vaginal wall ring. Took Vagifem 10mcg every night for 2 weeks & then x2 week. Gradually the constriction loosened and intercourse is now excellent - maybe stop Vagifem now - will discuss with doctor. Changed life - highly recommend Vagifem. Still use coconut oil as well.
This drug is very dangerous in my opinion. Do not recommend this drug to anyone.
Im so glad my counselor recommended I ask my psychiatrist about taking a tranquillizer. My anxiety is bad with uncontrollable nervousness, irritability, on the edge, and uncomfortable around people. Now im feeling great having fun with my friends starting to really settle down and focusing on my future w/ piece of mind rather than worrying every single second about what im going to do, what I should be doing, my status in life, you name it.
It should not be taken once as a cure all or as a preventative med for future yeasts infections. We host the yeast organism natually so yeast could never be eradicated and if the environment is right for this type of fungus it will germinate (grow) in spite of Diflucan. Frequent yeast infections are a sign of a major problem;work on eliminating source of yeast overproduction not symptoms only. Someone asked about the side effects of Diflucan. The side effects of Diflucan are hives, itching, swelling, sudden drop in blood pressure, difficulty breathing or swallowing, diarrhea, or abdominal pain.
