LOPRESSOR (METOPROLOL TARTRATE): Metoprolol is used with or without other medications to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This medication is also used to treat chest pain (angina) and to improve survival after a heart attack. Metoprolol belongs to a class of drugs known as beta blockers. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals in your body, such as epinephrine, on the heart and blood vessels. After almost two years, no side effects, except that it wiped out my yearly sinus infections! Very effective, and it does not go throughout the body, such as Claritin-D does. I'm happy with Nasonex, but will keep an eye out for the many side effects others on this website have experience.
jittery restlesness cant sleep
At the end if day two, I experienced the worst diarrhea I think I've ever had. It lasted well into the next day. It was very painful and even burned. I'm taking half the prescribed dose. Also have broken out with little pimples on my face, chest and back.
Headache, extreme fatigue, pain in left foot area and also lower back, acute sharp pains in chest area, dizziness, insomnia, lethargic.
I have a re-do in 24 months because of previous polyps and because of the debris. I want to try some other prep next time. Not because of the taste, volume or whatever but because I want something that works without fail
Those pill are poison and everyone should stop taking them. What good is the medicine if you kill yourself. The doctors should be ashamed of themselves to keep promoting medicine that attacks a persons mental state. Thank God I did not take the stuff 3 times a day like they directed or I might not be here to talk about it. It is that bad!
Oh my, this was horrible, in fact I have 5 mins ago took out my nr 1 (golf) driver and smashed the remaining box with pills. Enough. The worst was the anxiety. I feel spaced out, so bad that driving becomes scary. Then there's the paranoia. I can barely type, and no, it is not a symptom of nicotine withdrawel, since I am actually smoking more now. Quitting with gum (as I have done in the past) is a walk in the park compared to this. Oh and forget about sleep, it's almost impossible, and when you do there's the most vivid dreams. Just pray they are good ones.
I actually did not know this was happening as I felt fine. Did little to lower blood pressure tho. Thank goodness I have a great doctor who spotted this side effect or I would have been in serious trouble!!!
I have other reasons I could have these side effects. I have Crohn's disease which is an Inflammatory Bowel disease which does cause gastro problems. I also exercise quite a bit so that could cause joint and muscle pains. I'm about to get off of it so I can see if it's the medicine that is causing my problems.
Been taking Diovan 80/12.5 for about 6 months. had really bad headaches and heat flushes to the head with BP of 158/103. Diovan has stopped the headaches and heat flushes and my blood pressure ranges around 124/78 at the highest.
