Let me tell you I've tried just about everything out there. I started taking Motofen and my life haves changed for the better! Don't have to worry about finding a bathroom everywhere I go. Please give this a try if you're having symptoms like me. God speed!
Motofen is the only medication I have found that works for the diarrhea, after trying many many other drugs. Without it I am homebound, and in the bathroom 24/7.I will be so relieved and able to get back to the living when I can get it again.
Two words: miracle cure! Nothing else worked but Motofen worked instantly.
Have not experienced any side effects to speak off, other than maybe some gas, but that could be due to the crohnes disease
I have been taking motofen sense 1992, Its been a godsend, lomotol wasn't working anymore without takiing it by the handful. I have the entire portion of my elium removed so lots of bm's. There's been some talk about it not being available much longer and it scares me to death. I hope they come up with an equivalent.
I did not have any side effects with this medication.
This was the ONLY med that helped my symptoms. I have tried all over the counter meds and my doctor has tried a number of other drugs. Motofen wa the only one that controls my diarrhea. It is a lifesaver for me.

MOTOFEN (ATROPINE SULFATE; DIFENOXIN HYDROCHLORIDE): This medication is used to treat diarrhea. It helps to decrease the number and frequency of bowel movements. It works by slowing the movement of the intestines. Difenoxin is similar to narcotic pain relievers, but it acts mainly to slow the gut. Zyrtec is the only allergy drug that has worked for me. Claritin and Allegra do nothing to relieve my itchy throat, eyes, and nose. There are warnings of drowsiness, but I have not experienced this, nor any other side effects related to taking this medicine. My major allergies are every type of grass, oak and pine pollen, seasonal weeds, cats, shedding dogs, dust...you name it, I'm probably allergic to it. March and April are the absolute worst months for my allergies, and Zyrtec helps to minimize my torment, though, during these months, Zyrtec cannot completely eliminate my symptoms.
