Nuplazid (pimavanserin) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Nuplazid (pimavanserin)

Greatly reduced my father's hallucinations. Took a few weeks but after about a month they were greatly reduced and much less frequent.

Hallucinations & delusions - P D

At times more confusion than usual and reduced cognitive ability.

Wondering if stop Nuplazid will I suffer even more frequent hallucinations?

Not focused, confused and walking got worse. Hunched over and could barely move. No strength in legs, which seem to buckle under him. Had trouble speaking, babbling.

This medication made my husband so confused he did not know what he was doing. It took several weeks for him to reach baseline.

NUPLAZID (PIMAVANSERIN): Pimavanserin is used to treat the symptoms of a certain mental/mood disorder (psychosis) that might occur with Parkinson's disease. It helps lessen symptoms such as seeing or hearing things that are not there (hallucinations) and false beliefs (delusions). Pimavanserin belongs to a class of drugs known as atypical antipsychotics, though it works differently from most other drugs in this class. (Sources: U.S. Centers for Medicare Services, FDA)

If I know what I konw now I would never taking Lupron it is a DRUG FROM HELL and I got Pregant on the lupron and it is a Category X and I should never had my baby, I don't think my Dr was aware of all the side effects, It need to be recalled. It is runied young woman's life. When I was giving Lupron in 2002 I didn't find anything bad about Lupron. I will sue them they will pay for what they are doing to people. it is a unsafe DRUG that the TAP and FDA need to recall because thier are more side effects that come with the drug.I will never ever be the same, I would take back my ENDO any day them live life with the side effects from LUPRON.

Depression, extreme anxiety, extreme worries about life or family,

Decrease in sexual desires of any sort, loss of emotion and ability to cry, withdraw is HELL. Brain jitters, nausea, cold sweats, vertigo... and that is with stepping down from 130 to 75mg. It stops after about a week. Treat it like the flu :) Next goal... 37.5mg

I helped some what for the anxiety, but i grew very depressed and isolated. I am now on lamictal and seeing some improvements, but just like any medicine, give it time. I been on just about every antidepressant and can't seem to crack my anxiety symptoms. But i wont give up. Please see a psychiatrist and not a family doctor!

I have inherited my high cholesterol. My career involves great physical activity. I thought I had just overexerted myself and was over stressed. I had no idea a medication could cause so much economic and physical damage. I am still in the process of recovering from both.

Using for 20 years and works wonderfully! Not every night - but most. I take 25 -75 mg.

No noticeable side effects after 7 days of Provera. I'm feeling mildly crampy today, however. It's been 3 days since my last Provera pill.

My doctor was worried that I do not have periods. I told her I couldn't tell you the last time I had a really good period. She was worried about Cancer and told me I needed to have a period every 3 months. I am suppose to take Provera every other month to make sure I start having a regular cycle. The drug does work, but be ready for some side effects. Explain to your family what you might experience before taking it. I told them what the doc told me about the mood swings before I took it so whenever I was out of control they would look at me and say "the pill" and I would stop being stupid. I hope this review helps.

I experienced no side effects. I've taken multiple times over my life, the first time for 3 years for Kidney Reflux, the second time just for my skin as prescribed by my dermatologist. It seems to be a very effective but gentle drug.
