Side Effects for Vesanoid (tretinoin)

None at first, but severe headaches over time. Dizziness and blurred visions. On a positive note, it made my skin texture amazing. Smooth, even, glowing. Strangers would comment on it.

I was taking this drug in the pill form to treat my Leukemia (APL) between 2008 and 2010. I was on it off and on for about 18 months in addition to traditional chemo. I am in remission and have been for a few years. In the beginning, when my cancer was progressing agressively, this pill did not have any side effects for me and appeared to be working as intended. Once I went into remission and no signs of cancer remained, I continued taking it per my oncologist to stay in remisison as "maintainence". It was then that I began to experience really bad side effects of the headaches, dizziness and blurred vision, to the point where I could hardly function normally and driving was dangerous. It was rough, but went away completely a few days after I finished my dose. As mentioned, it did improve my skin considerably and I looked 10 years younger but that stopped when I went off the drug as well. Overall, of course I'm satisfied, as now I'm cancer free!

Fatigue, Cramps & pains in my legs & feet which has worsened.

I was previously very well controlled with Glucotrol Actos - however kept gaining weight ... today Dr added Januvia to the Metformin, so maybe I can lose weight and have good readings.

I'm now almost 3 weeks in and have still only experienced positive side effects...more energy, more focus, less moody, etc. Only negative was in the first couple of days...feeling a bit foggy and some tension through my neck and shoulders.

Major Fatigue. Depression (according to my wife). Gained 31 lbs. in three months.

It is a good drug to help short term diseases but in the long run I think this drug can leave you with more problems that the disease itself.I have been on these drugs for 8 years now and they have not helped me very much at all.

I was awake and in pain during the majority of my procedure. I clearly remember everything of the colonoscopy and doctor stopped procedure half way through then gave more to do the endo. I do not remember past the intubation of the endo but I feel very traumatised and violated.

dry mouth, jittery sometimes, heart palpatations (only lasts a few seconds), sometimes feel spacedout, vivid dreams every night.

breast enlargement, fibrous/hard/sore breasts, itchy/sore nipples, weight gain, increased appetite, yeast infection

I experienced insomnia, usually woke up around 2am even though I went to bed around 11 or 12.; The worst part is severe muscle and join pain around shoulder blades, shoulders, elbows, wrists and hands. It is difficult to raise my arms, and the whole body is aching like having a flu. I have been on the medicine for 25 days with 500mg/dose. This is not a medicine for me, it helped my sinus infection, but did not completely clear it.

Sweets cravings, weight gain, nightmares, night terror, depression
