prescribed for 10 days, 250mg 3x. my doctor said i could cut them in half, for a total of 375mg daily, cuz i was taking full strength last year and had unbearable side effects. with that episode, i started to feel normal again after a couple days off the drug. this time, i only got through about 6 days, and decided that without a conclusive diagnosis it just isn't worth the risk. the side effects are too numerous, severe, and possibly unknown. symptoms definitely changed, but i can't say that it's "better" now. still having weird BMs, bad cramping, and other unexplainable symptoms. would only use it again as a last resort. very difficult for me to tolerate, as it has a serious effect on my energy level and mood, plus it causes significant pain. the cramping is moderate, a 6 or 6.5 on a scale of 1-10, and i may be a little conservative, as i can usually stand a lot of pain. i also have weird joint and muscle pain that seems to come and go. i'm a little worried about the
I've only been on Toprol-xl for 6 days and my blood pressure isstill 160/100, it was as high as 170/106, so I guess it's workingI don't like the way I feel especially the the aniexty attacks, I'm not sure if it's the medication or concern about having high blood pressure for the first time in my life. Has anyone else had a problem with aniexty?
