I went on this Pill, the third one that I've tried, to avoid yeast infections. While on Levora, I have had fewer yeast infections, but I cannot concentrate on up-close work (such as using the computer) for more than an hour or two before my eyes fatigue and dizziness begins. Oddly enough, the symptoms are transitory and do not occur daily--which makes them worse.
Premarin literally ruined my life! I had a complete hysterectomy at 26 and was put on premarin 2.5mg. I slowly, but steadily went down hill in a matter of 2 years. Not only was I hospitalized for severe depression, I gained 70 pounds! I was in a mental hospital for uncontrolable crying, and I honestly didn't know why I cried every waking minute! When repeatedly asked what was wrong with me, through tears, I would say,
Not many while on it... Now 2 days into period, very moody and tired. Also, certain foods are just nauseating to me. If I didn't know better, I'd think I was pregnant!
The 150 Mg does not control my BP at all. The 300 Mg does not control my BP. Very erratic BP at both levels. I dislike this medicine intensely.
I haven't taken it for about a week and I feel like shit. Without taking it i loose all modervation to do anything.

THE ONLY SIDE EFFECT THAT BOTHERS ME IS THE BURNIG SENSATION IN MY MOUTH. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS? DOES IT EVER GO AWAY? PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU HAVE. THANKS. OTHER THAN THAT I CAN LIVE WITH ALL THE OTHER SIDE EFFECTS, BECAUSE I FEEL TOTALLY BETTER, MENTALLY AND NO MIGRAINE!
I had no idea so many others have had similar experiences with chronic constipation. So sick of doctors telling me to eat more fiber and drink more water! Fiber additives were AWFUL - someone mentioned concrete - same reaction here. I'm worried about long term side effects, but at this point I don't care so much. Can't be any worse than the vicious cycle of bloating, pain, hemmoroids, etc I've endured for the past 50 years! I'll take Miralax as long as needed.
I had to go to a pain clinic after 2 years of pain that the doctors thought was manageable ( because it was not their pain). I am on heavy doses of neurontin and cymbalta. I am taking 3-10 mg (325"s) a day and is helping me tremendously .When you have chronic pain it is a shame that doctors are so slow to prescribe what you need .
