DIURIL (CHLOROTHIAZIDE): This medication is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. Chlorothiazide is a "water pill" (diuretic) that causes you to make more urine. This helps your body get rid of extra salt and water. This medication is also used to decrease swelling (edema) caused by conditions such as cancer, congestive heart failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. This effect can help your kidneys work better and lessen symptoms such as trouble breathing and swelling in your ankles, feet, hands, or belly. MORE dizzy, out of sorts, trouble focusing... sort of drunk feeling. sick to my stomach from the resulting increase of vertigo.
Substantially increased depression, thoughts of suicide and killing my family (absolutely against my nature). Shocks in my brain, I thought I was going insane. I begged my husband to take me to the ER, I though I was dying after trying to quit taking this awful, horrible medication.

I took 150mg of Zoloft with 300mg of Wellbutrin together. When 1st started I would sweat alot. I was always hot. No sexual desire at all and terrible amount of weight gain. I am blaming the 40 lbs gained in a year on the meds because I was active and watched my diet. It did help the depression though. I was able to stop taking it just a couple weeks ago after being on it for 2 years or so. Emotionally I feel great now but went through HELL withdrawal. SEVERE AKETHISIA- I had to walk out of the class room daily and skip class because I COULD NOT SIT STILL TO SAVE MY LIFE i felt like something was inside me trying to come out...my mind could NOT control my body, SEVERE WEIGHT GAIN (20 pounds in one month...and I used to always be thin) made me OBSESSED with food...I would do anything to get to food and i would eat and eat and eat uncontrolably. Never have I been suicidal, but I wanted to die just to get rid of the akethisia it was LIVING HELL. I have permanent side effects... i'm way slower in the head...memory loss...stuttering... I would lie down and not be able to get out of bed I was SO tired at times.
In my first 3 years I had implanting and it only affected my periods now I have nexplanon and it is the worst thing ever it has attacked the follicles on my ovaries which has made it hard for me to have children in the future it has also cause me ridiculous weight loss, sickness and bloating I would not recommend for anyone to have it
This drug was forced upon me in The E.R. To calm down from a migraine. The next day I would begin sweating uncontrollably with jaw locking. My neck twisted so far to the right up I felt like dying and my head would never be the same... Most scariest thing I have experienced... Went back to another hospital and have been on valium and Benadryl to counter act which works but have missed a week of work now because of this... DO NOT TAKE THIS DRUG!!!
