Side Effects for Zaditor (ketotifen fumarate)
Zaditor caused both my pupils to dilate. My right eye itched more than the left, so at times I didn't use the drops in the left eye, resulting in a larger dilated right pupil than the left. Some sites list this as a side effect, and others don't, but my ophthalmologist said dilated pupils can indeed be a side effect. I stopped the Zaditor drops immediately.
So far, no side effects experienced aside from mild haziness that disappears when I wash my eyes.
I have severe eye and throat itch allergies associated with grass, and this is working to control the itch in my eyes. A large bout of grass can still trigger a mild attack, but it is much more bearable with the drops. I was looking for side effects, but so far, pleasantly - none at all. Taking with Allegra.
Itchy eyes from pollen in April-May
No side effects but no benefit from Zaditor either. Didn't really relieve the itchy eyes. I tried Zaditor, Opcon A, Visine A. None of them helped with the Itchy eyes from pollen in April-May. I found a better solution. I bought sunglasses from the mall kiosk ($15, knockoffs) that fit really close to the eyes (try a few in the mall, you will see the one I am talking about, they fit really close to the eyes, practically touching your skin/eyebrows and block the pollen from getting in). I use these sun glasses before heading out and it helps a lot.
Zaditor, Opcon A and Visine A were useless in the case of my itchy eyes from tree pollen.
We used this on my 5 year old son who is allergic to tree pollen. His eyes would swell, turn red, and become very itchy to the point that he would be sent home from schools. On some mornings his his eyes would be sealed shut from discharge when he woke up. Zaditor cleared up his symptoms almost entirely. His eyes remained a little puffy but the redness, itchiness and discharge were gone.The only negative I can think of is that the effects of Zaditor wore off before 8 hours (usually 6). Since the directions say it should not be applied more than twice a day there would be periods during the day when my son would suffer a little as he awaited his next scheduled eye drop.

Switched to this from Patanol due to price difference and OTC availability. I use it a few months out of the year. It reduces my extreme seasonal eye itching to none or manageable with minimal side effects. Seems to work better if you start using it a few weeks before your pollen comes into season.
Helps to relieve eye redness but doesn't help that much with the itchiness.

Had diarrhea when started the flagyl but subsided after the first week so I think the parasite has been destroyed.I've taken flagyl before and suffered extreme nausea however, this time I had no nausea at all because I added extra carbohydrate to my meal before taking each pill. On previous occasions when nausea was present I ate too lightly. Also, the pharmacist advised me to take a probiotic 2 hours before taking my first pill of the day in order to replace the good bacteria. Flagyl will destroy the good bacteria if you take it too close to the antibiotic.
If you are sick of being powerless over nicotine you must try this. This has been my second time taking Zyban to cut the habit. Last time was very successful, but several emotional issues (relationship, business & Sept. 11) came to a head right after I was weened off the drug. Still, I have been using in conjunction with "the patch" (which I have quickly decreased in dosage to 7mg/day) and have almost NO desire to smoke! When I do, the urge passes within 3 minutes (easy to take my mind of of it too). In the short term this drug does cause me some pain, but it is well worth one month of discomfort to save 10 years of my life.
I am a 32 yr old norwood 2 with diffuse thinning and read a lot of posts and did a good amount of research prior to going on 1/4 proscar daily. I had been on it for a week when I noticed a massive penis shrinkage and loss in libido. It was only after 1 month and 2wks of usage did alarm bells really go off and I made a correlation between the drug and some sides that I was exhibiting that were never mentioned in the pamphlet or website or message boards. My advice to those of you that are truly desperate is to really weigh the bad with the very little good that this drug promises. I had personally gotten to the point where my hair loss hurt so much that I was willing to do ANYTHING to address it but after my finasteride experience I truly feel that there are billion better ways to dealing with my hair loss and that includes just succumbing and letting the unfairness of nature do its thing. Standing and laying down we're ok, but sitting was like ...there was a Popsicle stick stuck up my butt ! Uncomfortable. Got a bad case of the chills, nausea and cramps. But the worst was the dark yellowish foul discharge, requiring me to wear a lite day after many years! Ewwwwww. I decided To pull it out,which hurt... But I feel much better after doing it. The lower back pain and the PMS. Was a real joy ! There must be other options
Yeast Infection due to Antibiotics
Deciding to heal myself and not have surgery (so far know MANY people who have healed themselves of every cancer there is...) I believed in natural Progesterone cream having used the over the counter by Emerita for years. My "bad" I stopped at menopause and hadn't used it for two years and my uterine lining then became thick, etc. I was excited to be on prescribed bio-identical progesterone made just for me. Vaginal suppositories, 200 mgs. 2 x's a day. (Goal was to shrink/shed the lining and "maybe" cure the cancer.WELL! As I was taking it and reading this board, I agreed with someone else who said that maybe others were mistakenly talking about synthetic? NOT! I've taken this drug since September 2008. I have panic attacks every once in a while, and my physician at my university prescribed this for me. I rarely take the medication (only when I actually have an attack, so possibly 10-15 per year). When I do take this, it's a miracle worker. I am so relaxed afterwards, and my panic attack subsides shortly afterwards. I do get a little tired or sleepy from taking it, but it's actually quite nice to fall asleep after such a traumatic event. Having the medication on me is sometimes enough of an insurance policy than actually taking the drug. I would never even consider taking anything but lorazepam.

Dizzy, nausea, headache, stomach ache and complete loss of libido.(I'm rating this at a 5 for position in the feedback, my actual rating would be a one or two...if I can't ever kick the long-term side effect of the dizziness.)
