Patanase ( olopatadine hydrochloride) Side Effects, Uses Dosages

Side Effects for Patanase ( olopatadine hydrochloride)

Only side effect was bitter taste but it help my sinius congestion

It worked great but makes me extremely sleepy that I cannot function, I'm hungry constantly and the bitter taste is intense!

This seemed to work very well for constant post nasal drip that flares during allergy season. Unfortunately, I only took it for 4 days before stopping, as it made me incredibly tired and loopy/clumsy/foggy. I passed out from exhaustion for 3 hours in the middle of the day an hour after one of my doses, which I have never done. I am more sensitive to medications, so Im not entirely surprised I experienced side effects, but I was really hoping this would work. Just not worth it though.

Bitter taste sometime sneezeing

I love this spray it help my sinus alot

For nasal allgeries with congestion

Blood in my urine bitter taste headache and slight weight gain.

WEIGHT GAIN. gnawing stomach hunger ALL the time. Documented, immediate weight increase. Dry mouth.

Seemed to work well for allergies. It's just not that worth it to me. I have allergic rhinitis, allergic to wet and dry molds and dust mites also: irritants, like cold weather, smells and particals. It was paired with also taking Flonase 2x per day (morning and night) with Patanese (olopatadine). I stopped the Patenese in May. The hunger pains ended the next day. I had to use it one day and noticed the difference within hours -how hungry I was again. I will never take this again. It is not for me. My brain no longer is asking: Should we eat, did we eat, what will we eat and when will we eat again -over and over all day. Nobody understands that unless they are going through it. Sweet freedom !!

This seemed to work great at first with no immediate side effects however after several months I noticed I was slowly gaining weight. I blew it off as something I was doing and not the spray but I went off it for a week and lost several lbs. Again I tried to tell myself it couldn't be the spray so I went back on it, gained evend more weight so I finally stopped using it for several weeks now and again have lost 4 lbs. In total I gained about 8. I know not earth shattering but to me it isn't worth it. Has anyone else gained weight from this spray?

This didn't seem to stop my sneezing as well as Astepro/Astelin.

I went back to Astepro and it worked better than Patanase.

Weight gain, abdominal pain and distention. Drowsiness during the day.

It works very well for allergy symptoms, however the side effects are too uncomfortable to continue usage.

Taste is terrible. tingling in throat and gagging taste afterwards.

It does't really do anything for me. I use it during allergy season only now instead of everyday because the taste is horrible.

This really helped to control my runny nose in combination with Zyrtec.

Just didn't work. Only relieved nasal swelling for about 20 minutes so gave up after 3 days.

Slight nalsal bleeding infrequent

This is the best nasal sprayed I've tried and I've been on about 4 or 5 different types.

Horrid tatse. slight headaches.

PATANASE (OLOPATADINE HYDROCHLORIDE): Olopatadine is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergies that occur in the nose, such as runny/itchy/stuffy nose, sneezing, and post-nasal drip. This medication is an antihistamine. It works by blocking certain natural substances called histamines that are responsible for allergic symptoms. Do not use this medication in children younger than 2 years unless specifically directed by the doctor. To decrease the risk for serious side effects, carefully follow all of the doctor's dosage directions. Do not give other cough and cold medication that might contain the same or similar ingredients (see also Drug Interactions section). Ask your doctor or pharmacist about other ways to relieve cough and cold symptoms (such as saline nose drops/spray, using a humidifier or infant nasal suction bulb). Massive anxiety, chest tightness and heart palpitations

to get my period back n prevent

The pain I experienced was horrible and intensified in the ribcage, along with shivering and body chills, slight nausea and I noticed pale poo and darker urine... All this from two eye drops just before the eye injection I was given at the opthalmologist appointment

The dreams are the only side effect that persisted. It has helped me tremendously to cope with my anxiety. Any medication can be harmful...but so can the effects of anxiety and depression. You need to weigh the risks and benefits. Everyone reacts differently and this is not the first med I tried.

taken about a month. Waiting to see how I do a little later on.

And I thought the migraine was bad, really thought I was having g a heart attach about 20 minutes after taking it.4 hours later I'm so tired but can't sleep, and headache has moved from right side to left. Last pill for me, its not worth the scary feeling.

PANIC ATTACKS!! Beware! Anxiety, head Rush, head pressure, sleepless.

This is unbelievably effective for my chronic pain of 25 years. After trying everything (NSAIDs, Opioids, Plaquenil, Prozac, Amiltriptaline, Gabapentin and no relief, I'm nearly in disbelief that I have zero pain most nights, sleep better, and can participate in most activities. Honestly, it's like a life saver! My pain was constant, intense and debilitating - and it's basically gone. Cymbalta began working for me right away. By the time I upped to the 60 mg dose after 2 weeks at 30 mg - I was lying in bed at night amazed at not feeling pain.

Started at 40 mg and went all the way to 120. Latuda was very ineffective for my symptoms. Increased depression

Loss of consciousness, lack of oxygen, extreme disorientation, fear, sadness, regret, no pain relief
