ZYLOPRIM (ALLOPURINOL): Allopurinol is used to treat gout and certain types of kidney stones. It is also used to prevent increased uric acid levels in patients receiving cancer chemotherapy. These patients can have increased uric acid levels due to release of uric acid from the dying cancer cells. Allopurinol works by reducing the amount of uric acid made by the body. After a week, in which I had no less than three - hours long episodes of rapid pulse (120 /-) things have improved greatly.
I had very bad endometriosis and my doctor suggested Lupron. I had a shot once every three months. My cramping and painful intercourse has gone away! I am on feedback therapy to reduce the side effects. I went on anti-depressent b/c I became depressed.I also started taking more calcium supplements. I have felt a lot better since going on Lupron. My biggest complaint is the 20 lb weight gain. I exercise and eat healthy. It was very frustrating to gain all this weight and not be able to lose it! No side effects with my (300 x 2) night dose. I wish I could take it during the day but it makes me drowsy and impairs my memory.
side effects began about 4 days after beginning the prescription, will only take this again if I have no other options, since I sing professionally, I had to wipe out the sinus infection, but for nonsinger, the infection is better than the cure with cipro!!!
Within 2 hours of taking my first dose, I got extremely hot and dizzy. I passed out in a bathroom, hit the toilet, got a gash requiring five stitches across my nose, a cut near my eyelid, and lost a tooth. My blood pressure plummeted to 60/40, and I was transported to the emergency room. I've recovered, but will never take another dose.
I feel like I am 80 and I am only 58. If things don't improve I may have to stop taking Femara because my quality of life is so compromised.

Risk with Premarin are minimal no matter what they've been saying in recent years I've had friends that have been on Premarin since they were in their twenties after hysterectomy and they tried to switch them off of it and it did not go well for them either. Don't be afraid of the Premarin it will definitely make you feel better and help to get some weight off of you.
