Side Effects for Mycolog-ii (nystatin; triamcinolone acetonide)

Mild stomach pains & back pain

Used in addition to Diflucan. Helped a lot with the itching. I felt sluggish & flu-like for a couple of days (not sure if it was from the meds or not). I had a yeast infection for two months & this was my last resort. I tried many OTC items & even yogurt. I dont like to take medications if I dont have too, but the itching just got too intense...

The XR I started off at 500 mg/day in the evening and had initial flatulence and nausea and would improve after 2 weeks until I cranked up the dosage again up to 2000 mg/day. The flatulence then got to the point where it was extremely embarrassing even though my glucose control was pretty good as long as I was reasonably disciplined (ie, usually stayed below 160 as long as I didn't decide to eat a whole bowl of udon noodles or a big chunk of cake). Then I went off Metformin and tried Januvia, which allowed people around me to breathe easier but sent my A1C up to 7.6 (got my A1C to around 6.5 or so in a few months from a 9 on the Metformin originally)Now I'm on JanuMet with the non-XR Metformin for a week and a half and feels like the side effects are worse this time around but I've heard that the XR is a lot easier to tolerate. So far I'm back to 115ish fasting instead of the "please let my fasting be below 140" ritual with Januvia. Let's hope my digestive system get

Went from being a healthy 33 year old to a worried wreck. 2 urgent care visits with no findings. Trip to the ER where they found an elevated d dimer but no clots thank goodness. The only thing I changed in my life was taking this dangerous drug. I stopped taking it for 5 days now but my heart still races into the 120s when I get up to do anything. Now I just have to wait until it's out of my system and no one can tell me how long until I feel normal again. Anyone else have similar symptoms and how long did it take them to subside? Please help!

the first day : depression, mild chest pain, suicidal thoughts; the second day : difficulty breathing or swallowing.

I have LOVED this pill. I am very sensitive to hormonal contraceptives, and have tried a lot (including Depo), and when I found that Alesse worked for me many years ago, it was a life-saver. But now (at almost 30), I'm having breakthrough bleeding, which my doctor thinks is due to my body changing and needing a higher-estrogen pill. Fingers crossed the new pill works ok...

I have been taking the pill since age 16..I became worried because I kept forgetting to take the pill and wanted something better. I switched to the Nuvaring in May.At first, I thought it was great & simple. Just slip it in and forget about it! Well about 2 months later I began to notice things..An increase in vaginal secreation & irritaion. The Nurvaring was also very noticable during sex. I also began to notice a change in my sexual drive...I could go weeks without it and didnt even want to do it most of the time. After using the Nuvaring for 2 months I noticed that sex began to feel different than it did before..It was a numbing sensation. I am highly considering going back to the pill unfortunately.

I would recommended this drug as a last resort before having a hysterectomy; however, it does work for the pain and suffering of endo. I feel like it can be handled as long as you know what you are getting into and possibly take an anxiety drug like Prozac to help with the mood swings. A healthy diet and daily exercise helps a lot, too with the weight gain.

I would rather take Topamax and feel these minor things, and lose weight, than get migraines 3-4 times a week. It totally took away my headaches! I'm very happy with this medication!

I took this drug for about three days and hated the anxiety that it caused. It made me very nervous and I was way anxious! What an awful feeling to have! As soon as I stopped taking it - the anxiety and nervousness - completely gone.

Spaciness, involuntary muscle jerks-esp in neck at night more but also during the day, coordination issues/bumping into things, extreme night sweats, worsening of PMS symptoms both physical and emotional, short term memory loss, fidgety, major sleep issues-can't sleep for more than 3 hrs at a time, vivid dreams/same dream feels like it goes on all night, breakouts of acne (mild), possible weight gain, brain "zaps". (I should add that I am on the generic form.)

10mg a day is an overdose for the average person. When I started this stuff I took it as needed and only had small physical and mental nags that I never connected with the drug. Then I increased it to every and the nags grew but I still didn't make the connection. I decided to take it as prescribed on the box because I thought the nags meant it wasn't working. Taking it every day literally incapacitated me! I went off it a week ago and have noticed a huge improvement in my overall quality of life! My normal physical and mental self is coming back. I guess it takes 10-14 days to leave the system completely. I can't wait till it's gone! A class action lawsuit would be a great idea! I didn't see any of those side effects on the bottle!
