Very mild warmness after application of 3-day cream internally and externally. I used CANESTEN 3-day Cream, the Canadian equivalent of MYCELEX 3-day Cream.
I tried Canesten 3-day cream (Canadian brand by Bayer), which has the same active ingredient - Clotrimazole - as Mycelex (American brand).I had developed a yeast infection after taking antibiotics for a bad bout of bronchitis. This was my first yeast infection.I had tried Monistat 3-day cream treatment and discontinued use after 1 treatment. Monistat was a horrible experience for me as I experienced very intense unbearable burning. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain so I was surprised how much it hurt. My doctor said I was allergic to Monistat's active ingredient or the carrier cream.I'm happy to say that I experienced NO PAIN or intense burning with Canesten/Mycelex. I will continue the full 3-day treatment and hopefully the yeast infection is gone for good.

I had 3 days on the troches but stopped when I got side effects.Tongue and sores much improved but I am afraid they will return.Eliminating sugar from the diet is key although my doctor nevermentioned this.
After using the applicator with cream, I experienced abdominal pain -- it felt like the uterus does when you're going to get your period or are on the first day only not terrible. Also had some pain in lower right side (ovary area). I have a retroverted uterus and have been told that sex could be painful because of that so I'm wondering if I just bumped my cervix with the applicator and annoyed my insides? The pain went away in about ten or 15 mins. I noticed just after that a tinge of pink in the cream -- just a little bright red blood like you'd get from a tiny cut or a papercut, mixed with the cream. I used the cream again the next day and had the same tinge of blood when I wipe myself. Today's day 3 and I didn't take the cream last night but today I still saw the faintest little bit of blood. I didn't have that before the cream!
I'm heading to the doctor this week to see what's going on. I think I may be allergic to the cream.
MYCELEX (CLOTRIMAZOLE): Clotrimazole is used to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch, ringworm, and other fungal skin infections (candidiasis). This medication is also used to treat a skin condition known as pityriasis (tinea versicolor), a fungal infection that causes a lightening or darkening of the skin of the neck, chest, arms, or legs. been on Imuran 3 months now, UC is considerably better,the best it's been in a year. I have some fatigue but it has gotten better since staring drug, harder to loose weight that I gained on prednisone. I work in a lab so I check blood levels weekly, all is well so far. So far the good out weighs the bad, hoping for continued success on drug. Going to FL in a couple of weeks hoping sun sensitivity wont be a problem. Have been worried about some of the side effects I've read about but so far have been minimal.

Had 1st shot nearly 3 months ago on a Friday morning at pharmacy. Was tired that afternoon through Sunday. Nightsweats Friday and Saturday nights. Chills in middle of Saturday night. Fine by Monday. Planning 2nd shot tomorrow morning. Hoping it won't be as bad. Had case of shingles 2 years ago. Never want to experience that again.

I had given this med to my 4 year old son since 06/07. We started experiencing negative side effects about 3 months ago. He was weepy, clingy, irrational, and mean at home. Things he normally loved to do, he began to be afraid of and have anxiety over situations. I saw on the news FDA was investigating this drug and I immediately called his pediatric pulmonologist. I feel uncomfortable giving this drug to my child. As of today, I have discontinued use of singular. We will see if his behavior improves. I am praying that it does.
Please please please don't take any type of Mucinex. I took the night time pill and slept great, felt fine. Then I took the daytime pill and started having panic attacks and disassociating (feeling out-of-body). So many people have felt like this from taking this and it's so dangerous.
Over all I felt much better before taking Humira and could deal with the diarrhea as I have had crohns for so long. Being tired all the time has actually reduced my quality of life. If things do not change I will tell my GI I am stopping the treatment. I will wait a full 6 months to see if there are any changes.
I would never recommend this med to anyone. I cannot believe this medication is given to children. Please think twice about taking this medicine.
