I never had Fibromyalgia before but since I have taken the greater doses (100MG every 4 hours) I have suffered from profound neuro pain in the chest, flank, & back. My protocol is to take the Succimer (DMSA) every 3 to 4 hours for 5 days and then take 9 days off. While taking the DMSA I feel like I have the flu with much incessant aching and suffer from a pronounced raspy cough. Following a course of treatment the flu symptoms go away but the Fibromyalgia like symptoms increasingly flare up over the days; I suspect because of what is called "redistribution of mercury" as the blood level of the DMSA is gradually cleared; however the raspy cough subsides.
Chemet (DMSA which is also known as Succimer) apparently is the least nephrotoxic of the available chelating agents and that is why I so far have endured its most unpleasant side effects. Some weeks of the aforementioned protocol I add 50MG of Alpha Lopiec Acid (Q 4 hours) to the protocol and this appears to cause the side effects to spike!

For 14 years prevacid has been a miracle drug for me and prevented me from unbelievable pain and possibly cancer. Now 15 years later- I can't absorb vit b-12 due to the PPi and I get shots monthly. I am now suffering from extreme exhaustion. I just had another blood test and I am waiting for the results. Please take Calcium - long term risk is increased fractures of the bones. I don't have a choice I have to be on this drug. We're looking for the reason for the exhaustion- before I found out about non absorption of Vit-B-12- I thought I had early onset Alzheimer it was that bad.I'm only 48 and I'm feeling the side effects-

I couldnt tolorate 3 other bcs but this works amazing. I have lighter periods lasting 1-3 days. Rarely get cramps. No weight gain. If imiss only one i do have spotting but otherwise its great.
At first a month ago nurse said to take 2 pills a day of5mg because they didn't have the 10mg but they didn't say to change i was taking 20mg.then two or 3 weeks later. My hair started falling out badly.i went back to 10mg its still coming out. Plus my leg has beeb swollen for 2 months and i have to wear a leg wrap something like a castand wrap. I talked both doctors and they say its the type2 diabete and arthritis.
I contacted the doctors that prescribed the pills to me. They automatically took me off of it, and in 5 days, I had lost 7 lbs. My chest still hurts painfully after a few weeks of being without it, but I can deal with it, as long as I'm not put back on the meds.
have had incresed libido and wonderful, multiple orgasms...very nice after a long hiatus (having been on prozac, then effexor for the last 10 years)

The first month on 50 mg's I noticed about a 5 lb. weight loss (yay) but no relief from anxiety. Still depressed. Doc increased dosage to 100 mg's and I began feeling very tired and depressed after about 2.5 weeks on 100 mgs. Anxiety gone but felt like a Zombie. Going off to try generic Wellbutrin. I don't think Zoloft is a bad drug but I just think it's not a good match for my needs.
