FLAGYL (METRONIDAZOLE): Metronidazole is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of infections. It works by stopping the growth of certain bacteria and parasites. This antibiotic treats only certain bacterial and parasitic infections. It will not work for viral infections (such as common cold, flu). Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for future infections. I only took this for one month. Three weeks after I started taking it, I started having periods again. Not normal periods, I bleed 6 or 7 days and stop for 2 to 3 days. I haven't taken it for 2 months and still going. I am almost 60 years old. I hate this. Can someone tell me how long will this last? I wish the Dr. had told me this side effect before I started, I would have refused.

I have been constipated my whole life just about, tried everything known to man. But using mirilax I have a BM almost everyday, which is Great. Just wish it didnt cause such bad gas. Not that I wasnt gassy before but now its worse. Any one figure out a way to deal with gas??? let me know.
Severe leg, joint and back pain. Going on day 3 after taking last 20mg tab and pain is as bad as 1st day. Can't sleep at night and is very painful during day. Doan's back pills help but still have the pains. Pain started 1 day after last pill taken.
I thought that there was something seriously wrong with me since my doctor said my problems were caused by stress. I was told to exercise more and diet, but I was eating correctly and was too tired to exercise which increased the hopelessness. After doing some searches on Co-Diovan and reading these comments, I decided to test abstinence from the drug and I have been feeling better. I can even exercise for a while.
I found Abilify to be the least helpful antipsychotic I have taken. Taken between 10-15 MG over a course of 9 months, it never improved Positive or Negative Symptoms. While not sedating to a significant degree (I did find it sedating to some degree however), the movement effects and blatant lack of symptomatic improvement made it useless for me. Note - my schizophrenia is of a moderate level. I am completely disabled but can perform tasks on my own and even live on my own.

Went from 0.2 mg gradually up to 0.6 mg but now down to 0.4 daily. Plan on weaning myself off this medication due to shortness of breath, chest pain, pounding and rapid heartbeat and anxiety so bad that my life has become withdrawn. Severe facial flushing due to anxiety.Absolutely do not stop taking this medication without a gradual reduction plan. Sudden stop will cause dangerous increase in blood pressure that could lead to heart attack or stroke
Large blood clots, extreme pain in ovaries/uterus, heavy bleeding
I'm still taking Fosamax but am considering quitting. I feel it may be linked to my throat irritation and subsequent bacterial infection of the sinuses and eyes although it has helped improve my overall bone mass.
