great drug. BUT painful 4 hour erections in the am
My depression was eleviated but I still wasn't myself, even when I went up to 200 mg. The side effects got to be too much (headaches everyday, problems sleeping, gained 10 pounds, would lose a handful of hair everyday) and I weaned myself off of it, only to experience strange seizure-like zaps in my brain that would last for just a second but were very distressing.
2nd day out of 7 drinking this medicine Abdominal cramps that go all the way down my right leg, burning sensation in my vagina and itching as well headache dizziness feeling weak and upset stomach
worked good sometimes sleep was not as sound
Thank God for this site!I have a Dr. Apt. tomorrow and I want off of this med. (I must admit the withdraw terrifies me)I have so many of the symptoms listed I can't believe it. I'd told my Dr. about many of them. He just writes and smirks. He thinks I read too much. Well I told him these things before I read this. I just spent a week in a Psych. ward. The Dr. there upped my dose of effexor xr. In the week and a half that I've been home I've thought about dying more than ever. I just thought all of the symptoms were "in my head" or I had MS or something. Now I can relax a little. It's the med. that's supposed to be making me feel better that's making me feel worse!
Face blew up, throat closed. Went to urgent care and got steroid shot & script. Back pain constantly. Tiredness. Like an anaphylactic reaction. After, skin just broke. Much care to face. A real horror show. Had shades of weird lockjaw too.
dizziness, shortness of breath, depression, anxiety, chest pains, bloat, nausea. ect.
was a fantastic mood stabilizer. calmed me down, made me able to still be rational and logical even in intense pain. what a toss up between the pros and cons. sigh
THIS IS A DRUG FROM HELL AND THAT IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THIS POISON BECAUSE IT WILL SCREW UP YOUR ENTIRE LIFE.
