diahrea lasting couple weeks; took awhile to connect the drug with this side effect.

AKATHISIA LASTED FOR MONTHS EVEN AFTER STOPPING THE MEDS.YOU DO NOT WANT TO EVER EXPERIENCE THAT.IT IS PURE TORTURE.THE STUPID DOCTORS WONT TELL YOU ABOUT THIS SIDE EFFECT EITHER.THIS MED SHOULD ABSOLUTELY BE BANNED!!

Dry mouth, agitation, crying, hysteria, reduced depression

My migraines are soo bad, and my body gets used to meds quickly, that I now take 4 excedrine 1-2 times a day. Less if I can help it. But, this is the first time I have experienced any side effects.

Approximately 21 hours after taking my first dose of Boniva, I awoke with chills, horrible aches and pains thoroughout my body, and a headache. (I have not been sick in at least five years!) That was 2 days ago and I still feel achy and out of sorts. Sleeping is next to impossible. I'm hoping this will leave my system soon.

Some itching in the beginning but could be psychosomatic.

I cannot say that this medicine worked, but also cannot say it did not work. Since I'm allergic to the medicine I guess I'll never know since I had only been taking it for 2 weeks when I had to cease taking it. Lucky me - the 1 out of 3000 it's prescribed to that has a reaction. I was so hoping that this would be the "magic pill". My family physician tested my thyroid just the other day to rule out hormonal problems and said he could prescribe seroquel, but I'm terrified of taking that, putting on weight and feeling tired all the time.

I take 100 trazodone, 50 mg Imipramine, .50 xanax and 8 mg Rozerem every night. I wake up usually 2 to 3 times a night but usually get 5 hours straight sleep. Also I read in my oxygen magazine 1000 mg of calcium and 500 of magnesium would help too. It does seem to help.

I wish I would have done much more research on this drug. I will never take this again. I took my last dose about 2 weeks ago and have been struggling with heart palpitations ever since. I have mitral valve prolapse, and this drug seems to have set off extreme heart palpitations. My doctor assured me this would be safe. To all people with Mitral Valve Prolapse, avoid this drug. Do not take it. I hope these palpitations stop soon. They are usually short lived for me, but after this drug they have lasted much longer and been much more extreme.

The only side effect was delight which led me to surf the web to find out more about this drug.
