TOPAMAX (TOPIRAMATE): Topiramate is used alone or with other medications to prevent and control seizures (epilepsy). This medication is also used to prevent migraine headaches and decrease how often you get them. Topiramate will not treat a migraine headache once it occurs. If you get a migraine headache, treat it as directed by your doctor (such as by taking pain medication, lying down in a dark room). Topiramate is known as an anticonvulsant or antiepileptic drug. ?? I have been on it for most of my life, I was 14 when diagnosed. I take 300 mcg a day. have 4 normal kids..I am 38 now.
several years ago I used to zomig in tablet form (over a 12 month period) as well as causing rebound migraines/headaches I also developed tinnatus which ceased when I stopped taking it.
This drug is horrible!I took one tablet (220)mg and 15 minutes later I started feeling tingles,itching all over.By by morning my upper lip was swollen,my buttocks itching badly.I've had these kind of allergic reaction to naproxen before,I thought I had some STD! after four days of this.Went to the doctor, neg on the STD.They said it was some reaction to medication I was taking and it had naprozen in it.Stay away from ALEVE.
I can't believe I vomited the 3rd month on the second day of the pack! Also, in the first 1-4 days of the pack of the white pills, I have nausea and now vomited just once. The biggest problem with this is that it makes me nauseas.It works for now(knock on wood). My periods are VERY light, they are on time, and practically NO cramping at all, which is amazing! I do feel tired sometimes though and the nauseas is just very vile and bitter UGH!
If stop taking for 1 day, 1 or 2 days later get diarrhea.
I only took micardis for two days. Had I taken it for another day I am sure I would have died. I was still recovering two weeks later. My doctor was shocked. Anxiety, depression, NO appetite, sweating profusely, dry mouth, extremely bad nightmares, very poor sleep, fatigue
dizziness, slight head aches, felt out of it, nausea, tingling muscles etc.
I have been on 600mg of Seroquel for about 4 years. At first it was wonderful, it helped me sleep helped with my mood swings and somewhat with my delusions. After about 6 months on the medicine I started noticing that I was losing and and have now lost atleast halr of my hair, going from very thick hair to very thin. I also sleep for atleast 12 hours a day unless woken up, and when I am woken I feel like crap for the rest of the day. I have gained in excess of 60 lbs asnd my weight fluxuates quite a bit. I would not suggest using in this medicine in high doses. I am currently trying to find someone to change my medication.
No real side effects except insomnia night of injection and mild stomach upset.
