Inability to communicate, cognition lowered dramatically, major weight loss, agitation.
The med was more of a detriment than not so I changed to an alternative. This med was a secondary med anyway and could not handle tonic conic seizures.

FELBATOL (FELBAMATE): Felbamate is used to treat severe seizures. This medication should be used only when you cannot take other medications or when other medications have not been able to control your seizures. I've been using it for several years. It has helped alot. My nasal passages always felt swolen. Which seemed to cause headaches. It has helped with that.It seems to not work as well as it did when I first started on it.
I know lots of people have no bad reaction, but if you have anything within the first week like I did (insanely rapid weight gain), SEE THE DOCTOR AGAIN. I didn't realise until today that this was all because of the pill. I don't personally recommend it at all, but at least try it. Good luck!
I stopped taking this stuff a week and two days ago and I still have random pains in my body. I also have some tingling in my hands and feet. I think I am staring to feel better, but the pains still come up during the day. I'm taking iron, B12 and D with calcium. How long does it take for this stuff to get out of your body?
I had to take this drug twice within 2 months and it was sheer misery. After my first run with it for 5 days I had abdominal and lower back pains. I didn't start to feel normal for 3 weeks and then I was put on it again for a 7 day course. My main complaint and only symptom for the bv the second go around was burning which never fully went away. Have the stomach issues again which seem to be slowly getting better but I will never again take this drug. The first round took away the itch and discharge but the second round did nothing for the burning.. Medication usually doesn't have any side effects on me but I can say this stuff really screwed me up.. I would recommend if at all possible to stay away from the pills and go with the cream or gel.. I just hope my abdominal issues sort themselves out because it's been hell.
VERY mild hot flash. Were actually welcome as it is winter in Maine!! Occasional spotting.
