JANTOVEN (WARFARIN SODIUM): This medication is used to treat blood clots (such as in deep vein thrombosis-DVT or pulmonary embolus-PE) and/or to prevent new clots from forming in your body. Preventing harmful blood clots helps to reduce the risk of a stroke or heart attack. Conditions that increase your risk of developing blood clots include a certain type of irregular heart rhythm (atrial fibrillation), heart valve replacement, recent heart attack, and certain surgeries (such as hip/knee replacement). Warfarin is commonly called a "blood thinner," but the more correct term is "anticoagulant." If you are using this medicine it may not affect you the same way but just know for some of us, it is a very dangerous drug!

Fever. Left shoulder n joint PAIN and left neck PAIN. From shoulder to neck. Got off meds. 1 month stiffness or Bursitis has remained. No previous or other problems.
Five days on this and we're heading for a divorce out of the blue. Throw this crap in the garbage can.
I took Actonel 2 months and started experiencing severe pain in my thumbs and hands and then it went into both my big toes. This pain lasted 3 months. After reading these ratings, I determined it had to be the Actonel and stopped taking it. It took 4 months after taking it to get it out of my system but the pain finally stopped. I literally sat for 3 of those 4 months using Icy Hot, my hands in electric mittens and took Motrin 800 PLUS two Tylenol for Arthritis 3 TIMES A DAY for the pain. It finally took Darvocet to ease the pain.
Mild pleasant feeling about 1 out of 10 times, otherwise no side effects.
I did have to go the bathroom all the time at first but now i do not. I have not lost any weight but i am only taking 500 mg.I hope i do lose.
Praise God for this medicine! IBS post gallbladder removal in 1992. Tried everything! In 2019, my family doctor decided to try this. It's been such a blessing.The taste was hard to take at first. Don't give up. I mix with refrigerator water and let sit for about 30 seconds and it's not as gritty. I'm so used to it now that I just fix it and toss it back.
very bad drug, horrible side effects why would a Dr. prescribe this to a pt. who has heart irregulaties?
Don't want to increase dosage since I finally put 2 2 together and noticed all the pain started after no more soma and switched to Baclofen, I had one soma left and pain went away in less than 20 minutes.
